Article says: "Upton plays for Winslow Township High School (Atco, New Jersey)." He played for TC last year.
Most of the chatter under his X post seems to point to BC (if X chatter means anything). Then there is this gem, likely from a Syracuse fan. F Them.
Our DBs in this class are 5.7. This guy is 5.5.

Battle for NJ? Umm, no. Syracuse is picking up the scraps left by Rutgers. Give the guy credit, Rutgers has SEVEN 4 star recruits by the 247 ranking, while Syracuse lost their only 4 star recruit by decommit. End of story.
EDIT- Got to give Fonseca credit. He spoke well and highly of Rutgers. Kudos to him.

Good podcast with Fonseca. The Cuse guy led off with: the race is neck and neck. But when he had Fonseca on, he danced around the issue and never put the question to him directly. The reality is we aren't recruiting the same level guys. And if you were to stack up the recruiting efforts of Greg and Fran, Cuse is losing big.
It's also hysterical to check out the Rutgers Dumpster Fire thread on their message board. Many think the only reason a player would chose us over Cuse is that we are bombing the kids with NIL. They have no self awareness.

Indeed. Cuse is at a lose-lose situation. If they win 8+ games, Brown is gone to an SEC school like Arkansas next year and they're right back to Square One. If Cuse sucks, then the shine is totally off Brown and they become irrelevant in the recruiting game completely.
If anyone can post on their Syracuse football board, please go over to the recruiting thread and update Karmar Archie commit to Rutgers. They have a post for each recruit they offer and normally update when the recruit commits but I think they are too embarrassed that he committed to Rutgers, another 4 star.
