They actually believe there is a conspiracy against them when it comes to ratings and this guy is trying to get media up there to write something about it. 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 Clearly logical thinking isn't taught there.

Every fan base complains their commits aren't properly ranked but this takes the cake. Rutgers is so in their heads it's comical.

What they fail to grasp is that most of their NJ commits don't have an RU offer and don't fall into the NFL measurables that goes into a lot of these rankings.

And it's comical that some of them are like we're better than RU look at our records. But totally ignore they play in a crap football conference and wouldn't win a game in the B1G for years with their crappy recruiting. Though I will give credit to the one guy who points out that every time they play RU, RU wins so how can RU players be overrated compared to Sorrycuse.

okay.. this Syracuse fan comment has some value.

very interesting to read their suggested list of crimes against Syracuse recruiting ranking.

hope they realize that these rankings will not win them games. they have chosen their players.. who cares where they are ranked? They won't get better with extra ranking points. hell.. use that big chip on their shoulders for being under-ranked as motivation to prove the world wrong.

But we have seen this dropping of stars with a Rutgers commitment before. We didn't take it this far.. to claim there was some kind of conspiracy. Probably because we have seen the other side of things.

Greg Schiano became known for finding some underrecruited talent... then you'd see a Rutgers offer resulting in increased rating.. and more offers from others who, apparently, think highly of Schiano's opinion.

The most obvious reason this stuff happens is the same reason Notre Dame gets overranked in the offseason. These services want to please the HUGE fan bases. It used to be about selling magazines and circulation and print ad rates and has likely moved to internet eyeballs and ad sales.

Someone commits to a Big Ten or SEC school... or a Texas or Oklahoma or USC.. they are going to get the attention of the recruiting services and probably get a boost. the ratings rate interest by important programs as much as anything else.

Who gives a crap about recruit rankings? They have no bearing on wins. If a player should be 4 stars and is downgraded to 3 stars it doesn't make him play worse. #getalife

The posters on that board are straight up losers. “Rutgers football sucks and Schiano is a shady hack” Ok, we get it. But now they are on to maligning some writer who covers Rutgers and out to expose alleged recruiting ranking conspiracies LMAO!!! Now I’ve heard it all.

Agree. Syracusefan.com is always good for a few laughs. Especially when they try to characterize the RU fan base.

IDK what is true here. This is beyond my expertise, which is why I enlisted Richie. Just throwing it out there, I'm guessing it happens here and there, but overall, the ratings are not materially impacted.

Richie's seen that tweet already. I also brought their comments up in a different thread on the premium side. I asked him to do a podcast about their claims...lol.

They claim all the recruiting sites are conspiring against them if you read their board. The voices in their heads tell them that RU places people on these sites to give themselves favorable rankings and put the screws to them specifically.

And it does remind me of complaints made on these boards from years back. I mean there are people on the premium side today that demand why a recruit is not a 4* if the run a sub 4.5 40 or better...lol. As if track speed is the most critical determinate of football ability.

Their site is great comic relief. Lots of small dick energy there. They are clearly jealous that RU landed on its feet and is in a better conference than they are.

Absolutely destroyed them.

Though, funnily enough it sets up perfectly for their continued narrative about their next prospect (Love) being downgraded for not picking Rutgers.

They continue to think Love is a safety in college and can't fathom why anyone would mention him as a LB...lol.

Of course they are clueless to the fact that at the Rivals camp he struggled mightily in pass coverage as a DB. That is why his Rivals rating will drop on the next update. If other sites were at that camp then they probably will follow suit.

And when it happens and they rage, you just to sit back and smile at their ignorant comments. 😂

Of course, we really shouldn't take joy at another's suffering but it's hard not to with those scumbags. 😎

But seriously, it’s just as lame for both sides to boast their team is better than the other. Reality check: both are bad. Do you think the CFB programs that matter are comparing their teams to RU and Syracuse ?

No matter how much they may argue about it, the Wendy’s fry maker is no higher on the career ladder than the BK counterpart.
