It funny the judge ruled the rule was capricious. Non-competes are capricious and most don't stand up in court when challenged
Not surprising. It’s all about the “free market” until it’s the worker who is free.
Got to go with Biden administration on this one in most cases. If I sell my business, then yes, of course a non-compete makes perfect sense. And if I have access to legitimate trade secrets, then yes, it probably makes sense. But for ordinary workers, no.
