That’s pretty severe damage.
Is that supposed to be from yesterday? Because it’s a little odd to me that debris is seemingly everywhere but all the roads are already debris-free. How might that have happened?

And somehow after all of this, a whole fleet of school busses two blocks away ready to roll out on Monday to take kids to a school that is likely no longer there.
What exactly are you suggesting? Do you think rolling fork looked like a nuke leveled the town weeks ago?
The mayor was on Twitter last night asking for any help possible… ambulance and such. I’m sure the first thing that happened was pushing the roads clear
They have these machines that can clear roads. It’s pretty amazing.
They staged some school busses to take newly homeless people to shelters
And those that do go to Rolling Fork or Amory or anywhere else hit, GO TO HELP OR STAY THE HELL AWAY. They do not want and definitely do not need rubber neckers driving around to see the damage.
A lot of those people will be left with absolutely nothing. Help will be badly needed.
Absolutely correct. Imagine waking up to "where are we going to sleep tonight, next week, next month?" Then the same for eating? Get to work? if they still have a place to work. Clean clothes? It's not just pressure on you for you, but to support your family. To go from being comfortable to having nothing. VERY stressful time coming up for those folks.
Donate, donate, donate. Money, food, water, clothing, bedding, personal hygiene supplies. A church in our community a few hours away is collecting these things to carry to shelters in the area.
