OT- Vikings...this series has Serious potential IMO

I don't see how anybody says the last show was a letdown. I wishi It could continue for a long time with medieval euro history mixed in with the Viking conquests and all. Eventually showing how they acclimated themselves into Saxon society and accepting Christianity.

I hardly ever watch anything but sports, military history, news and animal planet. This show has me hooked and I rarely get caught up this much in any t.v. other than my mainstays. I did watch all the Bible shows on History channel and wished it had continued as well. Does anybody know more about how these type of shows work and if there is any chance a change could happen and they continue it somehow?

It wasn't so much a letdown, as much as it was the Calm Before The Storm. It was your typical family vacation getaway like we all had growing up, complete with weird relatives, liquor, hallucenogenic mushrooms, and human sacrifices. This Sunday is the Season Finale....I'm expecting some sort of power play by Rollo against Ragnar.

The episodes are hit or miss for me. Great followed by mediocre.

I believe a second season has been given the go ahead.

Love the show and enjoyed this last episode a lot. Not every episode can be a battle.
