Dave Grohl doing "Hey Bulldog" was damn good.

and Katy Perry is beautiful, but I was underwhelmed with her version of "Yesterday".

Ringo perked up by the end of the show.....

Ringo realizes he was the winner of the "Money For Nothing And Chicks for free Lottery" when he replaced Pete Best on the drums, just as the Beatles were about to hit it big.

Actually, he now has a better voice than Paul. Seems the years in rehab, extensive fitness training, and sleeping with Barbara Bach every night has made Ringo look and sound younger than 73.

Over all it was a good show but I would have liked to have seen them use more older musicians doing Beatles tributes. Like Clapton, Brian Wilson, Keith Richards ect...

The Jeff Lynn / Joe Walsh Something performance was the best of the night. It was probably the most true to original version also.

Another part of the show that bugged me just a little was Alicia Keys' commentary before Let It Be. She seems to have a chip on her shoulder and to make the comment about other 60s artist that influenced her (and John Legend). Most of them she mentions by name were African American. I guess it is fine, but the show was NOT a salute to 60s artists. It was a salute to the Beatles. It seemed as if in her mind a salute to The Beatles was a diss to other 60s artists. Hell The Beatles absolutely list many African American artists as their influence and that was presented in the short biographies in the show. So due to some of her past racial commentary, it rubbed me a little wrong and just wasn't the place for it.
