1792. I have a soft spot for Barton products, since it's one of the distilleries that I've toured. I even spent time in the ricking house that, not too long ago, spontaneously turned itself into a pile of rubble.

Never had it. The only Japanese whiskey I've had is a Suntori 12. It was good. But it did seem to lack a certain character. Almost like they set out to precisely reproduce a Scottish Highland whiskey and more or less succeeded.
