Had a virtual zoom happy hour with my boys this afternoon including a few of my tailgate buddies. Whiskey and IPA all around.
I have a couple of cans of Hazy, a New England style IPA from Collective Arts of Wisconsin, chilling in the fridge for tonight's Zoom happy hour.
Tonight it's a fine Malbec from Five Star WInes in Walla Walla, the city so nice they named it twice!

Went to the 2nd biggest Oktoberfest in Germany last year.
The Volkfest in Stuttgart. Was a blast.
For the weekend Lone Eagle Flemington Fog, Icarus Go Flight and El Amor Prohbido, Guinness, and of course Buffalo Trace.
That's great with some muddled berries. Blackberries, raspberries, blueberries...go nuts
Started with a Grimm Artisanal Ales "Get Back in Your Body", next up was Fiddlehead Brewing "Second Fiddle". Now sipping on a Nebreaska Brewing "Nebraska Pils".

Was in Vegas in March for the PAC 12 tournament when the sports world came to an end. Never got to my games yet they had a 311 concert that same day next door at Park MGM. Naturally on 3/11
But Vegas started to re-open today. Not the casinos but restaurants and actually can get a haircut. One day we will be there....
Had a Saparro Black 22 oz sandwiched between a couple Sam 76 12 oz's.
If I've had a Saparro before, I don't recall it, but the roasted malts of the Black was a nice counter balance to the hoppier 76. Though by the end of the 22 I was ready to move on. Would have been better in a smaller portion.

A strawberry/lime margarita with my wife to start, with some added Jose Cuervo Especial. Next was a Zero Gravity Brewing, Madonna..followed by an Allegash Brett IPA which isn't a fan favorite. I was sick of looking at it in my beer fridge. Anyone on Untappd and close to NNJ, feel free to check in under "Beers For Danny". Coworker who was diagnosed with Covid, on a ventilator, and now recovering. My motto is the more we drink (and check in) the better he gets.
Scapegrace gin and grapefruit flavored tonic. It is just about unbeatable.
Epicuro wine from Puglia, Italy. Very nice wine that sells at $4.99 per bottle at Trader Joe's; we often have it with dinner. It's hard to believe that we were in Puglia in October 2019. So glad that we were given what has happened to Italy and so many other places in the short time since.
