Baily's Red Velvet Irish Cream with some thumbprint cookies around 9pm.

How is that? How different than "regular" Bailey's?
Today, in fact, I was staring at a bottle of that, but ended up going with the 2x as large Carolans Irish Cream, thinking (hoping) it will last longer. 🤓

Started off with an Oban, then had an Auchentoshin 12yo, now enjoying a Clynelish 14yo.

Virginia Gentleman with iced tea

VG and I have a lot in common, I think. From Virginia, present myself as a gentleman, but really I’m just cheap and will give you a headache.

District.96 Private Sector.

District 96 is criminally overlooked IMO.

Michigan didn’t invent old-fashioned fudge, but it was perfected here. We pay tribute to this time-honored tradition with KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge. By amplifying the rich chocolate notes of KBS using Mackinac Fudge coffee, then adding maple syrup and aging it in oak bourbon barrels, we’ve created a bold new take on our barrel-aged classic – one that could only have originated in Michigan.

WOW WOW WOW:

Carton, something something off my shoulder or something.

An "NJIPA" which I guess is them trying to coin a phrase, but I bought it, so who am I to judge. Hazy, with a grapefruit bitterness, without the the grapefruit flavor. It was OK.

Then I went to a 19 oz of Lagunita IPA, which I bought as a single for $2.49, and that is by far the most economical way to buy IPA's these days. Also seems more bitter then flavorful. Maybe it's just my taste buds tonight.

Nice, I have not found this anywhere. How is it? I think it was a special release?

Vine Republic in Mountainside. They were out of Lagavulin 16 so when I saw the bottle I jumped on it. While I still prefer Lagavulin, this was a solid dram. Of course, I need to get through the full bottle to see if it’s something I’ll go back to.

Fired up the Drinkworks my daughter gave us for Christmas this weekend for the first time and I have to say it’s pretty cool. The drinks are well mixed and tasty. My wife loves margaritas and she gave that 5 stars. My daughter made this TikTok about it which I thought was funny

I just picked up some 2018 Beckman Cuvee Le Bec from Plucky Wines for $19/bottle. This is the wine cellar for Pluckemin Inn restaurant. Since Wine Enthusiast awarded a 95 score and designated it as one of the few Editor's Choice Wines, I am curious about it. I had it last time over decade ago when I preferred their Purisima Mountain Syrah, over the Cuvee Le Bec. Interestingly this Cuvee Le Bec scored 3 points higher so I can't wait to try this 2018 vintage after an hour decanting.
