Where are all of the people?

I'm surprised all of that group would just walk in.

Looks like they left the gates open...

Screwey to me.

human intercostals slowly grilled to delicious perfection.

seriously, these people are cannibals. i did some reading up on this last night and here is what i found out...the people that took beth are likely the "saviors" per the white cross on the back window of their ride and the terminus is likely a source of food for the "hunters" which are the cannibals in the series.

a few observations as well....with all that set-up in terminus (chairs, laundry station, gardens, etc, where are all the people?, sign encouraging people to lower their guard, mary (chick at the grill) was either pregnant or obese....who is THAT obese in a zombie apocalypse? CANNIBALS, thats who....., she doesnt initially smile when she first sees them, rather, she steps between them and the grill then flashes a smile......

things are about to get ugly. i suspect the hunters are waiting in the adjacent buildings and are about to strike. some speculated that bob is a gonner and he is really bitten (remember, it can take several days to turn....that dude that was turning in the camper season 1 took a while), but im not buying that. he has shown no signs of anything from what i have seen despite being bitten on his bandage, but some speculated that he was the first to go and the hunters wouldnt eat him because it became apparent that he was tainted meat.

also, there is an alleged standoff between ricks crew and the marauders that daryl has joined up with. those guys are out for blood, but dixon is the wildcard (the sheep in wolf's clothing) that they arent expecting. there will be blood...thats for sure. the talking dead guy said that this weeks preview was the only section without plot-revealing "action" in it, so i suspect a huge twist coming up, especially considering its the end of the season.

i think glenn or maggie are likely candidates. glenn was on this week...so, that doesnt bode well.

also, apparently, glenn was originally slated to die in episode 75 of the comic book series, but kirkman decided to delay that to episode 100....so....he has a target on his back from a plot standpoint. i think rick is too central to the plot, but thats my opinion. it would certainly be a bombshell, but i think he survives.

its amazing the quality of some of the characters. the acting is really hit or miss and i find myself liking some of the characters i didnt initially like and vise versa. started out liking glenn and maggie, dont really care for them now (after the governor abuse, they seem chicken-**** to me), and initially, i didnt care for carl and carol, now they are quite interesting to me.

most, if not all of that is speculative except for the part about glenn dying, but its based loosely on the comic and they have demonstrated multiple times that its not remotely close to a perfect parallel. sorry if i ruined the comic series for you.

This is going to be filled with spoilers from both the show and series read at your own risk.I dont think Glenn dies yet. His death in the comics is a major plot point in the series and is used to introduce the new villain of the series. I know that they are not following the comics all that well but they do like to keep major moments from the comics in the show. For example Carl shooting Shane, Tyrese killing all of the zombies by himself, the only really major thing they cut out was the governor raping michonne which was not done for oblivious reasons. So I dont think they kill off Glenn yet if I had to bet on who died it would be Bob followed by Maggie.

I'm hoping that it is the saviors because once they make their entrance they make it in a big way. There's no way those people are not cannibals and I do think Bob will be eaten in the fashion that someone from the comics were (I believe that was dale). I'm hoping most everyone meets up again because I'm not really like the split up episodes with just a few cast members because I don't enjoy some of their stories. At least when everyone is together I don't have to watch an entire episode of just Carl and Michone. I really miss Shane, I like the dynamic that he brought, the anti-Rick. I think I've read somewhere though that in the comics Shane was more like Rick is in the show and vice versa. Regardless, next week better be good because this second half of the season has been less than stellar for me.

well, rick is supposed to be handless, dale is supposed to be mutilated by the hunters, not killed by a walker on hershel's farm, sophia is supposed to live until the alexandria safe zone, andria gets killed off before DC and that just scratches the surface. there are a ton of differences. thats what makes it ok to speculate. kirkman has shown a propensity for mixing things up and doing things unexpectedly when compared to the comic.

I wouldn't put too much weight on the comic versus the show. Dale has such a huge following that he's untouchable, Rick is central to the whole show (purposefully kept out of most if this 1/2 season to give the audience a sense of separation), and Glenn and Maggie are now becoming main characters as well. They've already deviated so far from the comics that it's not it's own entity that loosely uses elements from the other. There isn't a Beth in the books, but there is a Jesus... So there's that. A lot of folks are speculating that it's either cannibals or she's a female non-Hispanic version of Jesus.

In the comics Abraham was at the farm almost at the beginning, and Rick and Michonne are a thing.

Anyway, even in the comic the cannibal "hunters" aren't a real big plot point. Most Walking Dead enthusiasts think the book mentioning them was completely pointless.

‘The Walking Dead’: Robert Kirkman says season finale will ‘shock people’

They finally reached Terminus! Or at least some of them did. Glenn, Maggie, Tara, Bob, Sasha, Abraham, Eugene, and Rosita all arrived to a place with flowers blooming, crops growing, and a woman named Mary offering them a plate a food. So what now? Are the other groups (Rick, Carl, and Michonne…Tyreese and Carol…Daryl and the marauders…Beth) far behind? Whatever happens on Sunday’s season 4 Walking Dead finale, creator Robert Kirkman promises it will be intense. And he also says it will all come down to former group leader Rick Grimes.

“This last half of season 4 has been a character defining group of stories for everyone,” Kirkman tells EW, “but really, Rick Grimes — really finding what this guy is going to be able to do and how he is going to carry on, and is he going to get these people back together, and where is he going to go from here? And I think there are some big questions that are asked that are going to be answered in this final episode.”

Well, we’d expect nothing less. But before you assume that it’s going to be all sunshine and unicorns if-and-when the gang reunites, Kirkman issues the following warning: “This is Rick Grimes being pushed to his absolute limit. And if you think you’ve seen that before, you haven’t. And the Rick Grimes that comes out of this is really going to shock people.”

Whatever does go down, it appears it is going to leave a lasting impression, and is something that will have Walking Dead fans talking/sobbing for months after. “We’re definitely going to being bringing things to another level,” promises Kirkman. “And the anticipation for the next season after this finale is unfortunately going to be a lot more heightened than it has been between any other season. So it’s going to be a rough summer for Walking Dead fans waiting for us to come back in the fall.”
