my wife just bought a Jeep and is all into the ducks, dash is full of them and has a bag in the back seat to pass out. I hate them, when I drive they fly everywhere and she fusses.
To be fair, my OP was really intended to ask why men have ducks... I understand why the girls have them - my 13 year old daughter can. not. wait. to turn 16 just so she can get a jeep. She assumes they just come stock with the ducks now.

I have two ducks. If gifted a third it’s hunting a home. Mainly because there are two little trays on a Jeep dash that aren’t good for anything else. The people you see with them all the way across the dash must have two sided tape holding them. Either that or they’re constantly picking them up from the floor.

Just Empty Every Pocket. I'll never have one.

I've got a Jeep Grand Cherokee that I'm 3rd owner of, I've had since 2010 has almost 225,000 miles on it now. I replaced the headlights (too dim), changed a starter and the radiator and that's all. I would drive it anywhere in the country today w/out hesitating. That said its a standby that I now only drive when my truck or the wife's vehicle is down. Can't get much for it so I just hang on to it and drive it when needed or just to keep it up, I drove it to Meridian for the day a couple weeks ago

Most people don't understand how deep the Jeep culture goes or did at one time. When I lived in KY we bought a TJ to drive around back roads in eastern KY. I joined a local Jeep club and it was a lot of fun. We went on trail rides, a little community service and regular meet ups. I became good friends with the president of the club and found out he was hired by Chrysler to start the club. He worked for a marking firm and did the Jeep club deal on the side.

The big thing back then was the Jeep wave and I thought that was gay. We sold our Jeep before the stupid duck thing and I'm glad.

Jeeps are unique in the automotive world in that they’re like a blank canvas. You can leave them completely stock or you can add anything from minor accessories to full blown builds to make it your own. If you own a white Silverado it’s like every other white Silverado on the road regardless what you do to it. Ducks are just a way of acknowledging that someone admires your Jeep. I have two ducks, if I receive another, I regift it.

Here you go. I think it is cute that Jeep owners think the way you do.

Yeah I always wondered how many of those ducks fly south for the winter as you make a turn with the top and doors off, the way God intended Jeeps to be driven.
