OT: While Bermuda grass is dormant, is it okay to spray weeds with round-up?

Absolutely. I spray my entire yard in late February or early march.

I do it every year. Roundup won't hurt anything dormant.

Roundup doesn't work all that well when the weather's cold

But it won't hurt your Bermuda grass either.

I'm with you on crab grass, that **** takes over my bermuda late in the summer..

I read on here that if you fertilize the hell out of it that it will help control it. Problem is when I fertilize in July it is so hot and we don't get a whole lot of rain, you have to be careful because it is easy to burn up.
