I drive a 2006 Mustang. Just a few months after buying it new, if I ran it to where the fuel level was below a quarter of a tank It would not take a complete fill up. I had to just put in the max it would take, about 5 gallons, run it a while then fill it up completely. The buzz on the net said this is a common problem and is due to something about the saddle tanks. I read a recent thread about this and some were saying if I turned the fuel nozzle 180 degrees from the normal position it would probably take a fill up. Tried it today and it worked. Please don't ask me why that worked, because I don't have any idea and can't even guess why it did. I have no no knowledge of the physical layout of the tanks, connecting apparatus, etc. At this time though, I'll take one out of one.
