Quad screen is great. Would be better if they included the Nebraska v Minnesota game.
Yea ideal would’ve been Nebraska/Minn and Utah/UF split screen but most of the presets are one of those games mixed with lower level games in either 2, 3 or 4 boxes

At one point I had the B1G option as of of my 4. Now it’s gone. Algorithm needs to be refined. The quad screen has potential.

You must still have it. I have it and I don’t think it’s different from one subscriber to the next. It’s just a bunch of preset options for all subscribers.

You can go to the Home Screen and scroll down to the multiview row and scroll across to see a listing of all preset options. Also you can just press down and right next to the CC setting there is a multiview setting that can show you all the preset options. Nebraska/Minn is in some of the preset options.

I tried watching multiple games at a time and the charm wears off.
Its like being security at a mall.
The more you try to watch the less you see

FYI, for those wondering:

Can I choose what to watch in multiview?

No. Our goal with multiview is to make it available to everyone with a television. Since most devices don’t have the hardware to support multiview, we have to do all of the processing of video feeds on our servers to make multiview possible.

This means that every unique combination watched in multiview uses limited data center and computational resources. Because each region has unique, local content, we are especially constrained on the number of combinations we can create that include local feeds. We try to select the best combinations based on expected popularity, and are always improving our processes.

I think it is an overload but I still do it lol. I usually “watch” multiple games simultaneously anyway but this makes it easier.

In practice, at most I can pay attention to two games at a time but it’s nice to switch between games by just changing the focus of the white box. It’s good for when commercials come or a score just happened etc.. Last night I had 3 on the big tv and one on the iPad but really was paying the most attention to the Utah/UF and Minn/Neb games.

I switched from Youtube TV to Hulu because Youtube dropped SNY and MLB network but I find the picture quality on Hulu TV sucks. Anyone else use Hulu TV?

I might switch back

I'm in the same boat. I'm enjoying the Hulu content but I also think YouTube TV is a better overall product. Since there are no contract commitments, I may switch back to You Tube TV when the Mets season is over and come back in April. Still deciding.

Two games at once is my limit, and I mostly watch one game on big screen/PC and another off to the side on an Amazon Fire 11" tablet with the sound off. That way the second game isn't a distraction and I only need volume if I go to it. I could never do PIP, split screens etc. One big game with a little tablet is ok. With Youtbe I can add another tablet or phone but three games feels pathological lol

Are you noticing the difference in picture quality?

No not really. But I won't swear that there isn't a difference. I don't own a 4K TV but I'm pretty sure I do have the 4K firestick. It sounds like you are saying all of these variables were unchanged and the picture is worse with Hulu. I can't really say for sure that I'm having the same experience.

YouTube TV's interface is more to my liking. The DVR feature and other functions are more intuitive. I like the Hulu content but having commercials while you're trying to stream a show is maddening. I know you can spend an extra $15 to get rid of the commercials but that seems overly expensive. The point of cutting the cord is to save money.

I saw the multiview available by decided to only watch Minn vs Nebraska.
If I selected to watch multiview would all for games be recorded for later viewing.
I'll check that out the next time multiview is offered.
BTW I record all B1G games (football & basketball) using Youtubetv.

If you record all B10 games it shouldn’t be affected by multi viewing. They are two separate things.

You’ll likely have another opportunity for multiview with the games tonight. Also some other programs like the news channels are in multiview too like say CNN BBC Fox News etc.. so you can test things out there too. I only use it for sports though.
