Technically it's a neutral game at the Orleans Arena, not the T&M Center. This is sort of like the Utah State game to me. I don't really have expectations of beating a decent (not great) UNLV team anywhere in LV. What I want to do is take their best shot and not fold up. If that leads to a win, then that's outstanding. If not, let's compete for 40 minutes and not punch each other in the stands.
I haven't seen UNLV play this year, but their statistics are not jaw-dropping. They have a couple of bigs both averaging nearly a double double, so of course that's a concern. There's also a guard who loves to shoot from three (72 three attempts, 30 two attempts). Good chance Smith has a big game for them - there are three of them.
