Is our Lord and savior gonna bring that dynamite 3-14 3rd down conversion rate with him when he comes to "bail us out"?? How about that pass-happy stuff? This has me very nervous for our next "guru". Isn't he supposed to be a great recruiter? Can't he recruit a couple of guys that can tackle to Oregon, with all of its money and geographical advantages?

Why do you have to talk smack about Scott? Does that really make you feel better about MR and our staff? Scott is a great person and a very good coach. Is Oregon down a little this year? Yes. They lost their Heisman QB but they are 5-3 and not 3-5. Oh and Frost's offense may have had a difficult night on 3rd down but it still scored 40+ points in regulation. It still drove down the field on the road in the 4th Q with 12 seconds left to score a TD to tie the game. Lots of positives to look at with Scott.

This made me laugh... National Championship game participant Oregon is 5-3, Holiday bowl participant nebraska is 3-5. Just as we are not happy with our start, I guarantee Oregon, preseason ranked Oregon, and their fans are not happy with their start either. The fans are worried that the wheels are about to fall off. Sound familiar? And yet, you say don't badmouth Scott but first year coach and staff Mike Riley and company are deserving of all the badmouthing you can dish out? Scott is a great coach... how do you know? Has he had a head job yet? Oregon is down a little this year... Again, they are accustomed to 12-0, 11-1, 10-2 starts... This is a huge deal for them! I would suggest they are not saying a little down this year... Oregon still has USC, Stanford, even Cal on their schedule. They could easily finish 6-6. So again, take it easy on good coach Frost, but unload your shotguns on Riley and company.

Ironic, No?

I get some of it, but it is funny to bag on a coach who just put up 61. Yes it was 3 OT's so take away 21, so he put up 40. That should be more than enough for a team to win. Kind of like our team this year. In every game we have played, minus Illinois, we have had more than enough points to win the game. Our D hasn't gotten it done. In my eyes, anything over 21 should win you the game at Nebraska.

Oregon lost a Heisman guy. Nebraska lost all-world #80, and a record-holding running back. Very similar situations. Riley should be fired, and Frost should be fired. If we are lucky Frost will go to his dream job of Stanford before some Osborne disciple lets him crawl back here to run his pass-first West-Coast crap. That is all he knows, and it will not work here!

I said Scott is a good coach, never said great and I know because he's done well at Oregon in the very short amount of time he's been a coach. I also know he is a winner. I don't know that about Riley. It has yet to be seen if Riley's long career if he can pull out a winning season. But I guess he has, if you want to bring up the grey-cup, which in my opinion means very little.

Troll much? What do you mean it has yet to be seen if Riley can pull out a winning season?

The point I was making is you tell us to lay off of frost but then lambast Riley. You don't see the double standard? At least let the coach get some of his guys in the starting lineup before calling it a failure.

...and this, my friends, is Scott Frost growing into a HC position in the near future, right before our eyes. There will be bumps in the road, the media will not always be your friend, but you grow and become better for it.

"Scott"... you 2 on a first-name basis? Did you go to Stanford with him?
