Quick pass to Bump against the sideline....picks up 3 or 4. I hate it bc the sideline is an extra defender...but Dan doesn't hate it and he chooses the first play I'm sure. Of course, it may work better without Relf back there skipping it to him.

While the false start is a very distinct possibility with this team, I find it very interesting that Heavens is starting this game. It leads me to believe he will have a hand in the 1st play. Either as a decoy or going deep on the 1st play. It's funny that he is our fastest player and hasn't been talked about much this preseason but yet gets the start. Something fishy here.

agree gonna be a running play of some sort. Why try to air it out when u know u can run. Stick to basics get peolple comfortable then work in some passing plays.
no no no mullen will run the ball the first few plays just to get everybody use to the atmoshere. then maybe air it out later. Why try to fix something thats not broken. Stick to the basics of msu football then try to workmin some passes some short over the middle just to get russell and the recievers comfortable in a game situation.
