All of us interweb message board geeks are known globally for accepting only the hottest of women into our presence.
papelbon too.... did notice he has a lot of high school 'friends' as well......good to see he is using that as a recruiting tool.....also, may be a good way to find out who he is recruiting.... take note veazy
the first friend I saw listed on Dixon's page was none other than "DD" Douchebag Derek Dunn, listed as a MSU Alumni living in Jackson, MS Surprised players are allowd to affiliate with known juicers..................
It is very much a social networking site. Just a very specific one.
I find that people who make those comments usually backtrack on it after they come across a friend they hadn't seen in a decade through a site like that.
Or maybe you are just one of the lucky few who really have been able to keep in touch with the people you want to keep in touch with.

with Dan Mullen on facebook and following him on twitter. Now I'm not huge on updating my statuses (statusi?) on twitter but it's cool to know what my coach is doing to better our program
He doesn't spend a whole lot of time on facebook. He has student workers (girls) who keep up with it and decide who to accept as friends, etc. They also have a list of recruits that they are told to add.
However, he does get on there and change things around every once in a while, but it's safe to say that he only spends a few minutes a day on it (at most).

...and I joined because of professional reasons. My job requires that I need to know about what type web services, social networking tools, etc., students use in order so that I can better understand, help, and be available to them if they have questions. That being said, a lot of my friends on Facebook are people that I knew from college, high school, relatives, etc., and it's nice to be able to keep in touch.
So says the guy with over 4100 posts on this message board alone. What if we added up the posts from all the others you're a part of too?ArrowDawg said:
Posting lots on various message boards is not a bad thing at all. But to call out people for spending time on Facebook or using twitter in light of your online time is sort of comical.
