to fix mess. Tweeted Trump today. I guess when you can't get anything done when you control all three branches you just shut down the game and take your ball home. He couldn't lead water down drain.

Should have been shut down a few days ago. Trump should have called the bluff, IMO. Now the establishment (R&D) will try to pull this crap again.

Not much you can do when you need 60 votes.

Schumer is as worthless as Harry Reed, maybe even more, if you can imagine that.

I love how now....it's JUST Trump. The GOP and Dems and Libs and Clinton and Obama and Wall Street and.....are the problem, Trump the only solution.

I'm pretty upset with this budget situation. It's been pretty clear he is unable to pull either side together and unable to pull together a coalition of action on the issues he was elected for. The GOP Congress is really disappointing, not that the Dems in Congress are any better, just disappointing in other respects. I will give Shumer and the gang credit, they're willing to walk the talk which is a good thing for those who support their policies. The problem here is that very little of what they want to do is something that I am in favor of. The GOP congress just bent over and went "sissy" on this budget issue. I was disgusted with Obama and how he lead and Trump really doesn't look to be any better. He is basically more of the same under a different banner. IMO, the system is broken, it's abundantly clear, the person elected cannot fix it. The Congress won't work together to fix it. With as polarized as the country is right now, I honestly don't know what needs to occur for a course correction but we need one, desperately.

I believe our government should function unimpeded without needless political ******** interference. Shame on me.
Please step out of your own head and take a breath. You're going to smother in there, child.

Why should West Virginian's pay the legal fees for criminal illegal aliens in California? Shut downs are not the end of the world. My EPA contacts got paid to stay home during the last shut down and the world ran smoother for a week. Shut downs don't effect essential personnel.

IF the obamapuppet would have passed a budget...

WHICH HE DIDN'T FOR THIS FISCAL YEAR...

Trump wouldn't have had the opportunity to get the wall started and more good things...

WINNING !!!

That's "the wall"? I was expecting something more substantial.
If you're thinking of making a bid, the specs call for a see-through wall. The Mexican contractors placing bids know this yet you do not, winner.

The problem is solved when he (Trump) realizes he cannot win them all, nor does he have to to be effective. For starters, tell his side that he wants the budget for rest of the year to look like .... . Tell majority leader and speaker that he wants a vote on his budget tomorrow or Thursday. Those who differ will be willing to stand alone in next election. Tell Pelosi and Schmucker what he is going to do and let the chips fall where they may and all will be complacent in "shutting the government down.

If President gets no cooperation now, and he backs down, he may as well look forward to the balance of his time to replicate this budget adjustment farce and to be indicative of his term. In addition to being a great negotiator, he has got to learn to play with thee hand he is dealt, and don't allow anyone be able to read his hand until he plays it. All of the media is now predicting he is going to fold as does Dem leadership. Is he going to fold or play his hand out? He was never given a honeymoon. Will he back up the next 3.5 years, or will he be a man and back up his promises as a candidate.

A shut down is right up his alley, shut down for a week and then only bring back the absolute essential institutions when finished and let the rest wither and die.

Already:
Bama: See, no wall!
Bama: That's a weak wall!
Bama: See, wall has no impact!

Yet to come:
Illegal immigration without documentation cut to near nothing...
Bama: See, the wall did very little good!

Biff told us about this magical wall that will keep the bad mexicans out.

Doesn't exist and 'the wall' is nothing more than campaign bait to rally the minions. To stop border traffic, we need to do lots of things that don't have anything to do with a wall.

There you go with the literal stuff again. The wall is a symbol and a selling point. Trump is going to stop most illegal immigration. Heck, he's already cut it in half without spending a dime.

If you don't have borders, you don't have a country. That's the first place to start. Then, stop and deport them immediately. At the same time, go after the gangs that have been operating in this country.

Mexicans aren't coming in like they were and the ones that were here are leaving. That's great. And his fear tactics were instrumental there. Great. He just needs to enhance the border in certain areas. But his $XX billion wall isn't that at all.
