Like 17 we are. Our fans gave them all the support in the world this week and they go and embarrass us and themselves.

You really think just support is supposed to make them better than Alabama?
They've worked their asses off all year for this. They're not trying to lose. They got off to a bad start and just never got their bearings. They're in a pretty high pressure environment, and when you get in those positions and a few things go wrong it's hard to get it going back right. I see that. It's no reason to turn your back on them.
To be honest, we put a lot of the pressure on them. So chill out before you go raking them over the coals- they didn't ask us to go putting a t-shirt on the Bear. Everybody made their own conscious decisions to support them. Sorry they had a bad game- I'm sure it wasn't their intent.

You and people like you are such idiots. This team had a bad game against the best team in the country. In case you haven't noticed, Bama has done this to everyone they have played this season except OM (when they played like they didn't care).

I'm more inclined to believe they're not blowing it on purpose. It happens. I also think a guy sitting on his couch shouldn't be the one complaining about being more embarrassed than the people on the field putting a face to it. They're not trying to.
I'm not saying our fans didn't support the team, or that I agree with the initial poster. They did an awesome job. I'm saying your reasoning that our team should have played better because of fan support is kind of dumb. They played Alabama- Alabama can do this to most teams. I'm not saying I like it, but I can be a realist.

Let it go... his overall point is right. I don't agree with the overall poster as far as this week is concerned, but I think it's 17ing stupid for people that are behind an anonymous screen name be the ones complaining about being embarrassed. Yeah, it 17ing sucks, but hey...**** happens. There's still games to be played and they're still in position to do something great. It's not all over.
