The athletics site says "Fox Sports Detroit," but I also heard somewhere that SportSouth or FSS would pick it up. Do you know?

If you have metrocast and buy their sports package, you'll get the game. It's about five dollars a month and gets you 4 or 5 additional channels.

Awesome. What's the fee for using this thing? <div>
</div><div>I REALLY hate subscription fees for things that don't provide any active service from the mother ship. Like paying DirecTV for the ability to record on a device that I already own. Or paying DirecTV a subscription fee for whole-home DVR (which I don't do).</div><div>
</div><div>Makes as much sense as paying Microsoft or Apple a monthly fee for using your own computer. Unless you are Microsoft/Apple and you can get away with it, as DirecTV has (thanks to Tivo for conning the public into thinking that recording functions are a service that should be subscribed too...WTF, general public - you dolts didn't pay anybody to use your VCRs!)</div><div>

DVR whole home watch in any room fee is $3.00 a month.
DVR leased receiver fee is $6.00 a month. So if they took my old record 2 channels at once DVR and installed the new Home Media center there would be no change from what I'm paying now.

Did some more reading on that and you have to have a H25 DVR or better to go with that. I've got a H20 and two H22's. Bleh.<div>
</div><div>Maybe I can argue some upgrades out of them.</div><div>
</div><div>Not quite as bad as the days before they leased receivers. I had paid 3 or 4 hundred for a HD-DVR and less than a year later, they change the satellites so it only picks up half the HD that it used to. And they wanted me to BUY another HD-DVR so I could continue getting the HD channels that I paid for and they took away. I went apeshit all over them and they upgraded me for nuthin.</div><div>
