Pretty sure losing directly correlates. But what do I know ?
I thought the ratings ignored losses to teams who shoot better than their season average or they have a RAT off the bench.**
0-5-2 in our last 7 in regulation. Thank goodness for 2 OT wins or we would really be in a deep SEC hole. Also glad 2 of our first 9 were against SC.
Getting blown out at home is pretty much the worst thing you can do to your metrics. If we want to climb back into the 4-5 seed conversation we are going to need to compensate for our home incompetence by winning some Q1 road games coming up (as well as actually winning at home, where we are 2-3 in conference play right now).
Exactly. Or if it's a road game. Those don't count. Or if your last game was a blow out loss to a highly ranked team. If any of that happens it's okay to schitt the bed. Doesn't mean you aren't still a really good team.
That's an odd stat to cite- our record in regulation games.
...seems like a 'what the 17 does that show?' sort of record.
And it being clearly cherry picked to cover a certain window in time doesn't help with it seeming like an unimportant stat.
I think our season could be on the line next Saturday in Athens. If we lose I’m afraid we could fall apart down the stretch and end up missing the tourney. ESPN gives Georgia a 58% chance to win. The one good thing is they don’t shoot the 3 very well, they are actually below us in 3pt percentage. They only have 2 regular players that are over 35% and they both are below 40%. So maybe if they don’t turn Steph Curry on us and we come in motivated and play like our season is on the line we can get the W.
It is absolutely on the line. I’d like to think cam and Hubb won’t let it happen, but after the few weeks Cam has had it’s look like he’s mailed it in too

I'm going to say this. I don't think transfers often in general really give a rats arse. Either that are they are often highly emotional, which is why they transfer usually.
I think we lose our next 3 games and our transfers collectively shoot less than 20% while each opponent shoots over 50% from the field and 3.
We tried our hardest to beat Kentucky and Bama at home. Our best wasn't good enough. Now these transfers look like the world's biggest pouters. Boo freaking hoo. Call the waaaabulance for these babies
