at least we don't have horrible everyday jerseys like North Carolina. Those are beyond hideous and made of cheap thin material.

I've been pressing for us to change from polyester to cool breathable cotton for years.

I'm convinced

That Addidas has to be the worst sports apparel "innovator" in the world. Every new concept that comes out is loads of fail after fail.

Not true. The stuff they sell to the public or make for NBA or NFL teams/players is awesome. Their college apparel is uglier than ****, but as far as fabrics and things go they're fantastic. They just need to fire their creative staff. They do zero homework (evident in the A&M and MSU football jerseys) and completely ignore fashion trends (evident in the 1980's fugly baseball uniforms).

I understand where they are coming from though. Nike does the same exact thing with making "crazy" designs that aren't necessarily trendy but somehow become trendy. Look at the black socks they brought out for the fab five team. They marketed highlighter color shoes this year and they've taken off like crazy. Adidas is going for the same thing but failing at it. Again, I can see where they are coming from.

I think it takes off for Nike because it's so popular, it becomes a trend setter. Adidas isn't a popular fashion brand.
