Looking at the latest we will have games on Dec. 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th & 15th and then will have to travel to the Bahamas for a game on the 18th. I don't know that I've EVER seen a college basketball team play 5 days in a row much less have to immediately follow that up with a world tour that goes from the Bahamas to Hawaii to Las Vegas. This is going to be one exhausted team when they finally get back home.

On a side note we do now have 9 games scheduled before the Dec. 15th exhibition so Sidney should be good to go in that exhibition.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this will come back to bite Stans in the ***. We are going to end up dropping one or more of these otherwise cupcake-level games from simply being worn out. At that point, we'll need Sidney and Bost just to finish the season strong to make up for our early season swoon.

The earlier we can get Bost and Sidney game ready before the SEC schedule starts the better. We have a legitamite shot at an overall SEC title if we don't lose some early games trying to work in guys just coming off suspensions. If we can go 12-4 or so in the SEC then I don't think a 8-5 or so preconference schedule will hurt us too bad considering the circumstances.</p>

On paper, we shouldn't have problems with any of the five games: East Tennessee (20-15) , NC A&T (11-22) , Nicholls State (11-19), Alabama State (16-15), Belhaven (exhibition)

ETSU is the best of those four, and we play them first. Nicholls and ASU may be closer than we would like, but this gets Sidney back for Virginia Tech and Bost back for the SEC opener. 12-1 heading into the Alabama game is very possible. Would love to play the Washington State (16-15) /Baylor (28-8)/Butler(33-5)/St. Mary's (28-6) stretch - if we can get through that 3-1 we should have no trouble winning 12 SEC games.

Damn you really are a Stans sheep. We should lose 2 max. We will have the RSS for all the real OOC games. I see us losing one in Hawaii and maybe to St. Mary's on the way back. If we lose anymore than that Stans should be fired....

He predicts possibly losing 5 OOC games. You rebut with there is no way that we will lose more than 2 OOC games, and he is the Stans sheep? How does him predicting us to possibly losing more OOC games make him a Stans sheep?

You redefine tard on a daily basis.

That was just an example numbnuts. With the roster we are going to trot out there for the first 9 games, who knows how they are going to play. This lineup does not instill confidence in me:

PG Beckham
SG Benock
SF Ravern
PF Kodi
C Elgin

If that bunch loses less then 3 games then Rick would have done a pretty good job.

The 2nd half of that killer 10 games in 19 days stretch is loaded with pretty good teams. And we're going to be playing them without our PG and I can promise we'll be a tired team. If get through the pre-conference schedule with only 2 losses, we'll be a hell of a team this year.

A sheep would be someone who is making excuses for Rick's lack of coaching, using the we don't have any players excuse when we lose 3 or 4 games we should win in the OOC schedule. We will have the RSS for all the "real" OOC games, so no Bost means should lose 2 games max. A sheep would be someone saying that losing 5 games is okay b/c we didn't have Bost. Do you follow Tard??

I think our lineup will be

Bryant/ Tranny
Benock / Smith
Ravern
Kodi
Lewis/ Elgin/ Reik

1. to add extra games to get RSS and Bost in earlier (a big duh..no hidden agenda here, of course every sports hack and TV guy will jump all over this jewel so be prepared)

2. a nifty big 17 to the NCAA from Stans ( the NCAA probably didn't think of this angle...the ncaa guys are probably running around in their ivory towers saying "can he do that, get that guy Jackson on the line, we'll see about this" )

It is not an excuse when it is a real possibility. We will be playing with 2 returning starters, 2 guys coming off an injury, 2 guys that have never played D-1 basketball, plus Lewis and Riek. In this age of parity it is very likely that we will drop more than 2 games out of the 9 we will play without Bost and Sidney.

I understand that you are tryingreverse anti sheep jedi mind voodoo much like your mentor, Coach34, did last year by predicting 30 wins.

Predicting 5 losses may be a little unrealistic, but no more than saying there's no way we should lose more than 2.

You are such a heinously predictable jackass. You are doing the exact same thing you are accusing Hamnu of doing only from the opposite end of the spectrum. There is no way we should lose more than 2 OOC games once RS starts playing? I don't give a 17 how talented he is, he hasn't played competitive basketball in a year and a half. Hell, he hasn't even had anyone that could challenge him in practice since Varnado graduated (if he even could considering the size disparity). You are setting Rick up to be a massive failure based on RS who has yet to play college ball. He may step on the court & be an immediate 20/12 guy every night, or he might start out kind of slow. What then? Will it be Rick's fault if "the show" goes for 10/6 his first several games? I'm sure in your mind it will be. Basically, there is no way for Rick to be right or successful in your world. I'm not really in either camp when it comes to Stans. I see pros & cons to him as our HC. That said, your vitriolic hate of him is mind boggling. It appears that you are completely incapable of even one slightly objective thought when it comes to Rick.

I did not "predict" 5 losses. I threw that out there as an example of how our preconference schedule would not hurt us alot if we can have our crap together by the time the SEC rolls around. I have not even looked at the schedule yet to see who we even play. I was getting at us possibly being like UK a couple of years back when they had a terrible OOC record but then went 12-4 in the SEC.
