Excellent kind of alternative soundtrack. Zach Braff has also worked in a lot of pretty good songs into the Scrubs series too.</p>

a few years back that used that score with Shawn Merriman and Steven Smith and it was badass. I think you could run a video of anything with that tune in the background and it would get you pumped up. Two British folks enjoying tea and crumpets and queue the score... time to fight some redcoats.

...because all such questions are supposed to be phrased, "what's the best movie soundtrack other than Star Wars".

John Williams is the freakin man.

I looked it up once but have since forgotten the song, but it's fairly badass.

looked it up--it's Hellbent (Epic Mix) by the Groove Addicts. It's not a soundtrack but...anyway.

who likes to refer to himself as "the damn pater familias". Also, during basketball season, I kept saying "Jackin' up 3s ... I could see how a fella could derive a whole lotta pleasure and satisfaction out of it." Stopped short of saying it almost made me wish I hadn't been saved, though.

Big fan of that movie (and its soundtrack), except for the fact that people outside of MS probably confuse it with present-day and think we have choreographed Klan rallies on a regular basis.

not a soundtrack, but if you're into reggae, you gotta get johnny greenwood is the controller. a lot of stuff similar to the style and era of reggae that This Is England captures. phenominal comp even if it is entry level reggae for snobs

Isn't even that close if you're talking soundtracks. Scores bring in a completely different respect for music, but strictly on soundtracks, this is about as complete as they come. Most other "great" soundtracks are half good stuff, half ****** stuff. Braff's compilation only has one or two weak songs, but all of them seemed to fit the movie extremely well.

Good stuff on that record, great tunes and a handfull of classic 1-liners from the film.

I love the Pulp Fiction soundtrack as well.
