Just watched first half after caught most of second after church.

We did not take advantage of the RSS, especially when Marshall was on the bench. We have to get him the ball on the post. Why can't anyone make an entry pass to the RSS. Why was the RSS not in the game the last few minutes when Marshall fouled out. We could have gotten him out sooner if we could have gotten the ball inside to the RSS.

Dee made some really bad passes tonight, bad decisions. He has to be able to read the defense while bringing the ball up the court and our other players have to come and get the ball.

Too many turnovers, bad and last passes, this is inexcusable.
Lewis is a walking turnover.

We still have no recognizable offense, especially with the RSS on the bench.

The RSS is clearly in better shape than last year, he needs the ball every time down the floor even if he doesn't shoot, he can pass it back out for an open shot.

Moultrie is a beast on the boards, but he is not a real offensive threat.

Hood looked good on offense, but needs major work on defense, he got abused by Diggs tonight. Why did we not play some zone tonight? We had no help defense on the backside when anyone got beat by their man. This is cleary coaching.

We need to run Hood to the elbow time after time, he has that shot down..

We shoot way to many 3 pointers early in the shot clock, what's new?

Our team was un-prepared for the game tonight....

It's gonna be a long season, and another wasted year for MSU basketball unless things change in a hurry..

*!@! you coach Stans.....

because we have a clueless coach. I've taken serious heat from friends for defending Stans but he needs to get canned. This will never change until he is gone.

but there was a reason he wasn't getting the ball a lot tonight. Three, maybe four times, he fumbled the entry pass and turned it over all on his own, not due to a bad pass or a good defensive play. If he could just do that one thing better, keeping his head in the game enough to catch entry passes cleanly every time, I could completely live with the lazy D because he would make up for it four times over on offense.

He's a big guy, you just can't throw it up in the air or make a pass at his feet and expect him to catch it all the time.
With a big guy you need to make the pass to his chest or right above his head, not at his feet...
We made one lazy pass after another last night, I really don't understand what the hell goes on in practice...

For at LEAST the last 3 years, this team has used 3s to win us some games and keep us in others. We have no clue how to utilize our post players. We had no clue how to post up or clean up under the basket, and for years, it's been that way, but we have used our shot making ability outside the perimeter to keep us in games. Not only that, we are lazy on the defensive end down low, but again, for years, Jarvis was able to bail us out with his shot blocking ability. I said this in another thread, but this is literally the laziest college team I have ever seen play any sport. Unbelievable.
