and the Katz ball. One guy said "It was a blatant attempt to injure Katz, if he had instinctively backed up, it would've caught him right in the head." Are these corndogs just retarded? They seem to lack common sense. Was it thrown on purpose? Yes. Was it at Katz's head? Absolutely not. These people are acting like we took a bat and killed the kid. And also, I will add that doesn't it make Coach Mangina and Katz look even worse for whining about it AFTER getting their butts handed to them? It is two days later and they are still whining about it. I think it is safe to say we ruffled their feathers. When we meet them in the Tourney, it should be a good show. Also, does anyone else think that Mainieri sounds a little like Michael Jackson? I used to have mad respect for Mainieri as a baseball coach, now he just looks like a huge puss that whines about everything. What is it with the corndogs trying to spin this as if the ball nailed him in the forehead? It was seriously nowhere close to hitting him and he is acting like he died or something. I am proud of the way Graveman and Cohen handled it in their interviews.

If and when we meet them again, we won't have to worry about retaliation. After all, they exude the highest unparalleled classiness.

So, if they retaliate in a future match up, will Maineri call himself classless? What about his own pitcher?

That's what I am saying. I assume Renfroe will get thrown at at least once. Then who will be the classless ones

The entitlement is off the charts. If anyone challenges the thought process it's "Where are all yer championships! Duh huck."

SO apparently if Graveman had just thrown DIRECTLY at him lower and broken Katz's hand or wrist that would have been acceptable but throwing head level and missing Katz altogether by 2 to 3 feet warrants a multi-day whining session and is unacceptable? For any pitcher that wants to throw at our batters I will go on record by saying I will much prefer that the "purpose" pitch be way behind the head than the pitch directly hit our player and risk putting him out of action. Renfroe is still dealing with a slightly fractured wrist he got from a pitched ball that struck him whereas as far as I know Katz is still fully good to go except for the apparent PTSD he is now suffering from.

I'm surrounded by corndogs. This morning I was at a weekly function and wasn't certain in my mind how to handle it if it was brought up. One mentioned it and the others sat smugly and ignored me. One mentioned that at one time LSU played ULL but dropped them because they played dirty and that they dropped Tulane at that time for the same reason. Being pressed, I just said that I didn't have a comment. I was trying to keep my cool. It seemed to work as they didn't mention it again. These guys are not usually ******** with the exception of one.

I hope this guy makes the minors and whines about high ones after showboating.

The corndogs won't give a **** then though.

That wouldn't do it with them. They don't believe any team can do anything right other than theirs. They also have a condescending opinion about State...they don't fear them in any sport...BUT they actually fear OM and have a healthy respect for them...I think it goes back to the Billy Cannon deal...sad but true. They're really ignorant but they continue to breathe. Of course, the real irony of it is that not one of this group attended LSU...that's a telling fact...and why it should n't bother me what the 17 any of them think.

Well ... they don't have the option of dropping us. Betcha a lot of us would be whining too if the situation was reversed though.

So let me get this straight....

if somebody hurts their feelings, not only do their coach and fans whine incessantly about it, but they take their ball and go home?
