We've got 6 B2 bombers at Diego Garcia. 1 more to arrive this week. B52s are also on station there now. Over 10 C17s that are obviously transporting munitions for said bombers. Nearly 10 KC135 tankers. This is NOT a show of force. This is guarantee of force.

By end of week, the USS Carl Vinson will be on station with her Strike Group. The USS Truman has had it's Middle East deployment extended and has been attacking the Houthis in Yemen repeatedly for around a week or so now. A 3rd Strike Group is likely heading that way as well and I would guess it's either the Nimitz (that just departed on her last mission) or the USS Gerald Ford that is in pre-deployment maneuvers in the Western Atlantic. The USS GHWB is also prepping for departure from Norfolk and the USS Lincoln at North Island is prepping for departure. That's a lot of Naval hardware about to be a sea.

Trump's comments that Iran either plays ball or bad things are going to happen is not a bluff. We're gonna continue to hammer the Houthis. The dumbasses actually tried to launch missiles at the Truman Strike Group last week.

Add to it that the Israelis are very wary of Iran's nuclear program. They took out most, if not all air defenses around Iranian Military Critical Infrastructure in their last attack.

Just saying, something to keep close eyes on. This can all be found on the internet if you look. We're not even trying to hide it.

I always have my eyes on the Middle East. Because at the end of times, that's where the ultimate battle will take place. Glad we are still on Israel's side.

Are you on the text chain with the oval or something?

Haha. No. I just pay attention to this stuff. USNI Fleet Tracker is pretty up to date on Naval activity albeit about 3-5 days behind actual activity. It's real hard to hide that many B2s in transit and a dozen KC135 tankers mobilized to help them get there. Then Trump's comments end of last week and more. It's not rocket science to know some stuff is about to go down and it's likely not good for one country over there and their proxies.

Yep, I heard about the B2's being over there on the radio either Thursday or Friday of last week. I didn't know about the other stuff or exactly how serious it was, so thanks for sharing.

Dang it. Would rather not be called up to active duty. Though I do have fond memories of my year on Diego Garcia.

My sister spent some time there in the mid 2000s when the JSTARS were there for whatever reason. She loved it first 3 months and then was bored out of her mind after.

Thanks for the info

I was thinking Trump planning to visit Saudi Arabia in earl May was a bad sign for Iran

SA is liking the Houthi bombing and will welcome the Iranian devastation

Correct me if I am misreading it . I think the Saudi's are also on board with knocking HAMAS and HEZBOLAH totally off the face of the earth

Looks like it is going to happen

Yes. Saudi hates Iran and all of Iran's proxies. Let Israel overfly without issue to bomb Iran a couple of months ago. Will allow it again. Saudi could demolish Iran by themselves with ease. All that shiny American hardware they have would wreck Iran. Just can't stop 5K missiles that Iran would send back across the Gulf.

Ya know, we had a deal in place to oversee/limit Iran's nuclear program but some people just want to see Tehran destroyed by nuclear fire so we pulled out of that

If anyone on this board thought that deal was limiting Iran's ambitions around their nuclear program, I am sure you will buy my limited time only available beach front property in beautiful North Dakota.

Yeah I'd rather go with that than the permanent state of cold war we're in with them because the hawks in Washington and Tel Aviv want to either glass the area or reinstall the Shah. Worth pointing out that the Iranian hardliners also were opposed to the deal. The main reason Iran accelerated their nuclear program when they did is because we invaded Iraq

We should’ve never allowed the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism to ever have a nuclear program or research. It’s beyond moronic that we did. Iran controls Lebanon, Yemen and Gaza through terrorist organizations but people thought they were going to use nuclear capabilities to make their country more energy efficient/climate friendly? Morons.

Question: Why do Netanyahu and his political party financially support Hamas and have done so for over a decade?

16 C-17s with USAMC have flown into Osan in the last 3 days. Several have already departed for Bahrain. Speculation is they’re transporting AADS/Patriot batteries…

You used backing Hamas as an example of why Iran is a state sponsor of terror. Israel under Netanyahu also supports Hamas
Why are you side stepping the obvious point of “Iran should’ve never had nuclear research capabilities”? Do you think they should be allowed to have nuclear reactors? Do you think with nuclear capabilities they will be responsible about them and not produce warheads/dirty bombs? Do you believe all countries should have nuclear capabilities for the sake of clean energy?

Yes, I think all nations should have nuclear energy for the sake of clean energy. I also abhor nuclear weapons

Ok, thank you for answering. I too abhor nuclear weapons.

The problem with everyone having nuclear energy is those countries could theoretically turn that technology into something nefarious. I barely trust first world nations not to behave irresponsibly with nukes, I sure don’t trust Islamic fundamentalist countries, that shout “Death to America! Death to the West!” to be responsible. We already have North Korea waving nuclear capabilities around (whether they can actually launch it on viable ICBMs or not).

It’d be nice for everyone to have clean, efficient, cheap energy but who is going to enforce 196 countries all follow rules and regulations? The U.N.? They can’t enforce anything if a country with an army says no. For every country to have nuclear energy seems like one of those “nice in theory, won’t work in reality” kind of ideas. No matter how much everybody would benefit.
