I don't see us scoring more than 30 points with the RUN offense so I'm taking the under ... go ahead and tell me now how bad their defense is and what an idiot I must be .... however, I still think we win big

Big? Big meaning what.....better than 14 points? I guess 28-10 or 28-7 or something of that ilk could be considered big, but I don't know if I can agree with a scenario that has us holding UK to one TD or less. To me, big is 31-7 or 38-10 or worse. Maybe a shutout with 28 or more.

yeah ... I think the defense is the cause of winning big .. by big I mean 2 touchdowns or more ...maybe I should have said the OFFENSE won't score over 30 points

they are way too dynamic on offense. I'll be happy to eat my words, but that isn't happening.

Cobb is a serious matchup problem because he is considerably taller than any of our corners, and Hartline can throw the ball around pretty well. It will help if Locke is out for the game, which it looks like he might be. I think our only chance is to really stuff the run and make them one dimensional. If they are able to run and pass on us, I don't think we can score enough points to beat them. Defense is going to have to play out of their minds Saturday, and I'm sure they want to prove something after last week..

Unless we start playing a little tighter pass coverage and getting a couple of INT's, we're going to run into some trouble. I think this is the game, though, that our DB's get a couple of picks - they're overdue. We'll need to control Cobb and Locke (if he's not hurt).

Their defense is no better than UAB or Houston. We scored 47 on Houston and the only reason UAB held us to 29 was because we didn't even play Ballard and Brignone also missed the first half. We'll have both of those back Saturday.

shear the wool. This is going to be a tough game. 30-40 points is far from a sure bet for MSU.

Over/under for the game score, or just what we score? I'm pretty sure you're talking just about our score... which is pointless.

He is unstoppable. If we can get him loose and control the clock, we could really do some damage offensively

and will be a tough job for our defense, but it won't be because of his height since he is only 5'11".

Locke being out helps us since it should allow our safeties to not have to support the run defense as much & focus more on helping with Cobb. Also, it might help the D be able to mix up our coverage looks some more to hopefully confuse Hartline into making some mistakes. With Locke out, we really need our front 7 to be able to stop the run reliably with very little help from the secondary.

Locke being out is really going to hinder UK.

They are an easy team to figure out though.

In their 4 wins, they have won the turnover battle 8/0. +8 during wins.

In their 4 losses, they have lost the turnover battle 10/4. -6 during losses.

Protect the ball. Take away the run game and force them to throw.

You know, the same Florida we held to 7.

But Florida is kryptonite to UK, as Bama is kryptonite to OM and LSU is kryptonite to MSU.

UK hasn't beaten Florida since a 10-3 win in 1986. 23 straight losses to the same team.

Since 1978, UK is 2-31 against Florida. Since 1957, UK is 5-40 against Florida.

They're giving up 40 points per game in the conference, and 45 points per game on the road in the SEC. Hell, they gave up31 to us last at home year, and our offense may not be great this year but it's definitely better than it was last year.
