for us "overthrowing" pitchers is the guy that left this pathetically thin staff behind as he made his retirement glory tour. Our own deified Ron Polk. If Cohen had a few more decent arms on this staff, this wouldn't even be an issue. Even by next year, with all the new pitchers being brought in, I doubt Cohen is forced into the decision of taking his starter farther than most would like or putting the arsonists out there that is known as our bullpen.

the blame on for leaving us with no bullpen and an overall lack of baseball talent? After you figure that one out, then tell me who is to blame for our football team being God-awful at WR and QB?

is why didn't Croom address the WR at any point during his career at MSU. He came in needing WR's. He left needing WR's. The same can almost be said about QB's, but the WR shortage was/is the most glaring need.

if Polk had left more than about 2 SEC caliber pitchers on the staff, I don't think Cohen hesitates to replace a starter who is getting to a high pitch count. So in that way, yeah, its as much Polk's fault as anyone. We have the choice to let the starter go as long as possible or to go to the bullpen and give up double digit run totals.</p>
