Who thinks Miss. St. will rush for over 200yds?

I think if we just run the ball straight ahead instead of trying to do the illiterate read(er) option, we can eclipse this mark and possibly win the game. It's simple; run a play in which there is no decision making involved, run it up the middle, then once the defense has keyed on our RBs try the read option. That's why it worked so well in the Battle for the Golden Egg last year - well, that and Greg Hardy had no idea how to defend the read play. We had AD to take the majority, if not all of the attention of the defense.
Also, the QB/RB exchange is far too slow on the read option, it has to be done quickly, not tip-toeing 3yds. in the backfield before ultimately keeping it. When he holds it that long everyone knows what is coming and is already in place to stop it. The LBs and DEs are already around the edges or in the gaps. Got to change it up.

Who thinks Arkansas will pass for over 400yds?

Call me optimistic or stupid or whatever you want, but I think we can hold them to under 400yds. I also think a big part of that will be because we get a healthy dose of Knile Davis tonight. I say he goes for 100 on the ground.

If we rush for over 200 i think they pass for under 400. For the simple fact that if we have that kind of success on the ground we are more than likely grinding and keeping mallet and co. on the sidelines and controlling time of posesssion.

If we run the ball for 200, the game is gonna go by fast..

Buying MSU 200, Selling Ark 400.. They'll have about 325 though..
