1. South Carolina (12-3)
2. Vanderbilt (11-4)
3. Florida (11-4)
4. Georgia(9-5)
5. Alabama (8-7)
6. Arkansas (8-7)
7. Ole Miss (8-7)
8. Auburn (7-8)

9. MSU (6-9)
10. LSU (4-11)
11. Tennessee (4-11)
12. Kentucky (2-14)

We are only 1 game behind Auburn, and we hold the tie breaker with the sweep over them.We are only 2 wins out of beingas high as 5th.Out of us, Ole Miss, and Auburn, Ole Miss has the worst schedule left. They still play @Auburn, @Florida, SC, us, and @Arkansas. Compare that to our schedule of SC, Bama, @Tennessee, @Ole Miss, and LSU, and I think we have a much more favorable schedule. Auburn has Ole Miss, @SC, Georgia, Bama, and @Tennessee.

I think we can get 7 more wins out of what's left, with a decent chance for 8 if we can take 2 from Bama.We need either Auburn or Ole Miss to sweep this weekend. That would be best case scenario. Ole Miss taking 2 of 3 from Auburn would probably be next best case scenario.

...Go 3-3 in the USC/Bama stretch & MSU is 9-12.

Go 4-2 in the UT/OM stretch & MSU is 13-14.

Sweep LSU & MSU is 16-14.

Then subtract 2 wins along the way due to inepitude in close games & MSU finishes the regular season 14-16.

I would say if MSU follows my formula (which I somehow doubt they will) & finishes 14-16, that would an outstanding acheivement for this bunch.

we'll be in a regional- I dont care if we go to Hoover or not

That had 10 SEC teams in a regional. Also, we are 7-6 against ranked teams. The Gov. Cup and Memphis are big non-conference games for us.

Cohen really left Kentucky in great shape.

Beginning to wonder if that's what will happen to us in a few years.

In fact, not much of it is Cohen''s fault. Cohen's responsible for our team now, not theirs.

So Cohen is supposed to have amassed enough talent to win at State by now, but his successor is not supposed to have done the same?

would have to be factored in by the NCAA selection committee relative to our positioning in the SEC. For example, Auburn is a game ahead of us right now at 7-8 in the standings but they are only 4-8 against everybody else in the SEC besides KY.
