Anyone still feel that way? It was laughable when it was said initially. Who all here is ready to own it?

8 teams(10 considering new guys) will NO DOUBT be in the top 48 teams in the country. Six are guaranteed top 32.
We are looking at likely SIX different SEC teams sitting at 2-0 on the driver's seat. Only 3 of which were "favorites".
Then, you've got State and UK hanging with one loss, plus the new guys with A&M and Mizzou.

Currently, the SEC sits at 14-2(16-4) on the regionals...assuming no major upsets happen late in the OM/LSU games

But if Fullerton can put something together right here, we will be on the CAT BIRD SEAT to host 5 super-regionals. The NCAA's head is about to explode...

Of course, they could always screw us and send us all over the country again, if they stick with their "ignore value in favor of political correctness" thing and don't look at resumes or bid amounts...

Has he gotten anything right about baseball this year? The only reason the SEC looked "overrated" is because SEC baseball is very comparable to SEC football. We're the strongest conference in the nation and beat up on each other. Even the "bad" teams in this league are decent and can take out a whole lot of OOC "good" teams. We've also got the last 3 National Champions. And I'd be surprised if we don't have at least 1 team playing for the NC aGAIN this season. Some people really need to just step away from the keyboard when baseball season starts, because they become complete idiots.

We have several that try to be baseball guys because they're decent at football and basketball comments...but unfortunately baseball takes a little more detailed knowledge and experience to know what the hell you're talking about. I'm not pointing out any one poster, and I'm not always right by any means, but we have some seriously dumbassed baseball posters.

Polk never had one of the best anything in the nation in his 2nd stint
Polk won 40 games once in 7 years- Cohen has already in 4 and two of those years were wasted cleaning up Polk's mess

When you add what Cohen will do the next 3 seasons- it wont even be close

especially when one person will use the same target over and over. With 34, at least he's sure to call out everyone equally (except himself, and his tendency to make buckshot predictions regarding basketball)

Overall, I just want to hear more about how stupid we are for bunting.

the NCAA for whatever reason does not like the SEC dominating in baseball.

And if the ACC falls apart, it will probably widen the gap.

It will be SEC, PAC-12 or whatever, and the Big 12 probably in that order.

And I'll add- Georgia got screwed. And Auburn probably should have been put in as well. Hell will freeze over before they put 10 SEC teams in.

No cell service thank God. Came into Aliceville for the morning but headed right back so here's my 2 cents. We beat the 4 seed and you act like we're now the 27 Yankees and what I've been saying about the offense somehow doesn't hold water now. Look at the SC-Clemson game last night. What did they do differently in the last inning after a lead off 1B? There you go. Once again it's all personal with you though trying to be message board cool, pathetic.

And hump4hoops ONCE AGAIN it's not all bunting. Get that through your head. It's just the move the runner from 1st that we constantly employ. I wouldn't have bunted with Pollo or Britton but luckily they didn't get out allowing for the big inning. I loved the call with Slauter and Rea on 3rd because a ground ball means big boy is out at the plate.

Good luck to the Dawgs today, love the Lindgren move. He's gotta keep the ball down and I think he will. Smart to hold the better pitcher for Florida State* (that's a jab at you CorpseDawg)

Hope we can keep the bats going and steal a couple of Samfords to use.

Let's play 2 - Ernie Banks

Seriously, I was wrong on that. The SEC is having maybe its best regional weekend ever. Surprisingly, the only 2 #2/3 seeds that didn't make it through 2-0 are the only 2 that thought they had a chance to host. The SEC will probably lose 1 from Ark/Miss/Vandy that won't make it through, but I think we still have a decent shot. So that should be 5 or 6 super regional teams.

The ACC is having a brutal postseason. I wonder how the Clemson runner that interfered with the double play being turned in the 2nd feels. He took a run off the board and they wind up losing in extra innings to their biggest rival. Ouch.</p>

you just cannot EVER admit when you're wrong. You have clearly stated in the recent past that the SEC was overrated. Your purpose was to bash Cohen and belittle anything we accomplished. We told you that you were a fool in thinking this, and now the proof is there. Own it.

and here you are back (after a lengthy absence) to tell us what we're doing wrong and what we should be doing.<div>
</div><div>All in all, you and yours should be watching us, honestly. Bianco may learn a thing or two. In no way has your baseball team outperformed ours. What you've done is got an easy draw, like we did last year. Have fun with UCLA at their place.</div>
