Thiero to the draft. Big blow for Arkansas
Career high at UK was 14 pts..I don't think Livingston has a single collegiate stat that is better than Oweh's. Hell, Livingston only scored in double figures 7 times in his entire college career.
Relax if Oweh goes pro we didn’t want him. We don’t want players who don’t want to be at uk or in school and that’s the only real reason not to stay. With that said Oweh is likely coming back and pope knows this keeps people engaged. Plus we can celebrate nit losing Oweh and forget about some of the misses. This coaching job requires this kind of drama. Oweh will be back bc I believe he has grown to know what being an AA at UK can do for him for a lifetime. You win a title too and well he will have it made. These next hours counting down to tonight are going to be brutal until there’s an answer. The sheer amount of refresh hits I’ve already hit today are probably in the triple digits
You put Oweh's motor in most D1 athletes and they'd be a helluva player. If you put Oweh’s motor in Livingston you’d have a helluva player.
LOL, you must have missed the season Livingston played at UKOweh is not better than Livingston.
Have to disagreeOweh is not better than Livingston.
Oweh is not better than Livingston.
Never seen Livingston put his team on his back and carry them the the win. Not once and he was never ever close to doing so. Can't say the same about Oweh, because that dude did it. And we all saw it. Your post is silly.Oweh is not better than Livingston.
Oweh has one final workout today, with the Sacramento Kings. They don't have a first-round pick, only a second rounder (42nd).
He's getting positive feedback from what I've read. whether that translates into a draft spot, who knows. He worked out for the Knicks yesterday who have four first round picks. Of course they will likely trade a couple of those away, but still he seems to be getting some decent feedback. Maybe Pope is telling him to wait till the last minute for that anticipation and attention to the program. Save the best for last so to speak. The BOOM we need to finally set our championship caliber roster.Personally I think he comes back but who knows.
One thing I don’t think I’ve seen mentioned in discussions about why someone would be “getting feedback” and playing out every workout: I don’t think the feedback is about what he needs to work on. I think he is probably more aware than anyone else about the things he needs to work on. He can get that info pretty easily.
Instead I think it’s smart to get as much in person time as possible with any team that shows interest because IMO many teams are looking for fit and personality and how players will fit within their culture.
Getting face to face time with execs and scouts can lay the foundation for getting a contract this year or more likely IMO next year.
By all accounts he’s a great character guy. That comes through in meeting someone in person. Even if he isn’t drafted this year, that first in person impression could be the difference in a team drafting you if they have met you and get a sense of how you will fit within their team culture.
Please note I have never been through the NBA draft process so all of this is JMHO. The feedback I got in high school from my coach was “you have deceptive speed. You’re even slower than you look up close”.
This is *** backwards from the way it actually works. He doesn’t need to “announce” he’s leaving. Announcements are only required if you withdraw from the draft.Seems like the longer this goes into the evening, the better for UK. I highly doubt he waits until the bitter end to announce he is leaving.
Probably didn’t want to get hurt yet again. That’s his issue, always an injury.Thiero to the draft. Big blow for Arkansas
That’s the whole point. He returned to college and injured his wrist. That is one of the main things about returning to college is risk of injury. So no I’m not acting like anything. He goes pro last year and has a contract while he’s injured whereas now he probably won’t be drafted. Oweh sees that also so I’m gonna call it what it is. Does Oweh come back and make us fans happy or does he go while he can.You gonan pretend like him hurting his wrist and missing the final group of games didn’t hurt. He plays in those games and he would be in the late first round conversations. Robinson was playing the best basketball of his career before he got hurt
Chris Livingston played one season at the University of Kentucky in 2022-2023, averaging 6.3 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in 34 contests, including 26 starts. He shot 42.9%He's simply a far better player. It's not even close.
Wrong. Robinson withdrew right before the midnight deadline last year. I remember it well. Maybe you didn’t hear about it until the next day, but that’s your issue. That's interesting. Not at all how it worked for Robinson last year, though. He announced the next day. So I think you may be wrong.
I agree with that.If you put Oweh’s motor in Livingston you’d have a helluva player.
That has nothing to do with who is the better player.Chris Livingston played one season at the University of Kentucky in 2022-2023, averaging 6.3 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in 34 contests, including 26 starts. He shot 42.9%
This is better than 16 ppg and the best player on the team last year.
Otega Oweh's stats during his time at Kentucky include averaging 16.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game in his 2024-25 season
He is in the Gleague (mostly). It is laughable to think Livingston can even hold Oweh's jock. Oweh would eat him alive. Age has nothing to do with who is the better ball player. It is amazing, Oweh June 21 2003 and Livingston Oct 15 2003. Both the same age at this point in time. One player smart enough to stay in college and fine tune his game, the other was on Cal's short list to push out the door to get the next guy to destroy. LolThat has nothing to do with who is the better player.
Livingston is what, 2 years younger than Oweh?, and in the NBA already.
Oweh is not.
Leadbelly, you typically post when there's an angle to play on the emotions of Kentucky fans.Unless he just provided another update, Trilly simply said it was likely Oweh returned to UK. He wasn't confirming he was back.
So the guy that made the league is a worse player than the guy that can’t get drafted? He is in the Gleague (mostly). It is laughable to think Livingston can even hold Oweh's jock. Let's all learn a lesson from this after two years in a row of it happening. Last year, Robinson waited until the last day. So did Oweh. It will probably happen again next year. Maybe we as a fan base can file it back so we don't lose our collective minds this time next spring.Also. Pretty clear hes gonna wait until almost everyone decides. Which makes total sense. But im thinking hes gonna wait until the end to see how it all shakes out, and see if theres a chance he could get drafted.

Not the same draft is it. If CL is better than Oweh he would be a regular on an NBA team. But to say CL is better when he has never ever shown it is what is laughable with your statement. You and I can agree to disagree on this one.So the guy that made the league is a worse player than the guy that can’t get drafted?
Laugh at that!![]()
On this message board, BBN does not have the capability to not lose our minds....over anything related to UK.Let's all learn a lesson from this after two years in a row of it happening. Exactly. Livingston had Cal and Rich Paul behind him.He is in the Gleague (mostly). It is laughable to think Livingston can even hold Oweh's jock. Oweh would eat him alive.
