In roughly 6 months or so I went from 205 to 170-175 (depending on the day). I'm only 6' to 6'1" and my wife says I'm too skinny now (may be, but I feel so much better).
I have a fairly physical job and I am pretty active outside of work, but no real "exercise" program. I cut out junk, NEVER drink cokes (really not many since 9th grade-I'm 37 now) and almost never eat after 7 pm. I still eat pretty much whatever I want, just less, and eat a good snack at 10 and 3ish every day.
I'm telling you, the weight POURED off of me. I'll admit I've never been fat, so to be fair, I had a good starting point, but 35 pounds is 35 pounds. One of my colleagues and her husband did the whole program and they've done great (both in early 30's) but I have too many kids and not enough time for a full time workout, so I stole the diet from her. After a couple of months I altered it a bit to include most of my favorite foods and I couldn't be happier.
