i understand why 09 is sad. He thinks the ayatollah we killed yesterday is really the 2nd most dangerous human, after sha.
I disagree with pretty much everything you post these days, but that was funny. Well done. At least you have a sense of humor, unlike others who just want to throw stones at those they disagree with.

Laughable. You've been on this weird shtick about "balance" the last few years. Complete and utter BS. You use that to hide behind the real reason, which is that you don't respect and you don't agree with my opinions. I only mentioned two posters because those were the two I could think of off the top of my head. There are more. General_Tso is one of the best posters in this history of this board, but you ran him out of town because he was "too negative" for your liking. I didn't always agree with shupat08 but I respected him. He too (I believe) has turned against Holloway, so you use that against him as you do with me.

I'm the same person I've always been - calling it as I see it. What's changed is this board has become a haven for the Pollyannas and cheerleaders. Dissent is not tolerated here among all the lapdogs for the status quo at Seton Hall.
Last time I am going to waste my time with you.

I absolutely never said a single bad word about Pat. Never. Then for some reason out of the blue he said something dispaging about me on the Trove. I responded as I thought he was way out of line.

General_Tso is one of the best posters in this history of this board? That might be the most laughable comment I ever read here. Why, because he's lock step with you?

As for you...in the last two years you have been a detriment to the board with nothing but criticism for the team you 'root' for. Don't use the excuse that I don't simply agree with you. I don't agree with anyone who posts nothing but negative opinions.

You can't even think of one good thing to say about the team in probably 24 months or so. Really?

The General's six-packs were legendary.

I've posted some so-called "positive" things over the last two years. Do I skew "negative?" Absolutely, but I'm not going to shy away from expressing my views. Why would I change my opinions or lie about my opinions just so HallDan can say I'm "balanced?" Such a ridiculous notion. Newsflash: you can still root for a team and call out all the bad stuff you're seeing. And yes, I truly believe Holloway is THAT bad. My view is that Seton Hall will continue to descend into irrelevance with every day that he is employed as the head coach. That's why I'm so passionate about calling it out.

does it even matter who the head coach is anymore? Especially for schools like us that aren’t a no brainer destination.

If we hire a no name coach but have a ton of NIL money we’d probably be better off than having a very good coach with below average NIL. But there’s probably no way of ever knowing.

It does, for a number of reasons. First and foremost the system that they run. College basketball coaches are control freaks. You have to get one with good control over his program and an efficient style of play/system.

That’s some quality new age cliche bs you just spewed. What system? Score the ball and defend the ball? Where’s all these magical individual systems coming from? I’m pretty sure Shaheen has good control over his program…

Every coach has a system. Ask one of them and educate yourself.

You go hire a bunch of high priced talent and roll the balls out with no structure. I'll go hire a good coach and some modest talent and my team will go farther.

Every coach has a system. Lmao. That’s good. Yes yes all 370 D-1 coaches invented some magical system that nobody else ever did before. Go back to watching sportscenter.

Yes, every coach runs a system. In general terms, Holloway's is focused around defense. McDermott's is focused around intricate offensive sets and getting open looks for three point shooters. Do you even know what a D-I college coach does?

Sportscenter? What? No idea what you're talking about.

When I was in 5th grade we played a 2-3 zone and a 3-2 zone. Soon after we played man to man and even box and 1. We called it….playing basketball, not a system. It’s not rocket science like new age scream artists and media want you to believe.

Running an efficient offense is all about execution & attention to detail. If you watch UCONN or Creighton they set multiple off the ball screens, very effectively. Our offense consists of a single off the ball, half *** screen. Same with the pick & roll. It's obviously not a point of emphasis since it's been the same all year.
