I have only spent one week down there but I found a couple good places: a food truck with great fish tacos was Finn's. A good sandwich shop was fatty's and I was happy with Sharky's gumbo and seafood but like I said I only been once.
Saltwater Grill
Angelo's Steak house
There's a good sandwich place down towards the east end but I can't remember the name. It's a hippy joint with some different options for a sandwich. Small hole in the wall but original and good.
Come down here all the time. Here for a month this time and this is an excellent list with Unlce Ernie's being my favorite. Saltwater is a tad more upscale. Captain's Table and Hunts are good, but Hunt's is small and crowded and overrated. If you want a break from the seafood, then Los Antojitos on 98 looks like a dump but is great food. The Boatyard's food is above average but not great. Thursday is a good night for the boatyard
I was down there two week ago, Firefly and Hunt's Oyster Bar were...
the two places we ate in Panama City/Panama City Beach. Firefly is apparently fairly new and I thought it was real good for the money. Hunt's is kind of trashy but always good.
We like trying out places down 30a.
I recommend Restaurant Paradi' in Rosemary Beach and Cafe 30-A in Seagrove. They are only about 20-25 minutes from Panama City and worth the trip.
