It should be a "lot" easier then this system to select your preferred parking lot.

It takes two minutes. I got my 2 scarlet passes.
Yet you had to wait for your on line time. Correct? They used to let you select your choices of parking lots when you paid for your season tickets. A lot easier, didn't take two minutes it was done much earlier.

It's more equitable this way rather than having arbitrary priority points cutoffs. Also ensures that all lots are as full as they can be which is the real point of why they do it this way.

It was equitable before. The change was made so they did less work and put it on the season ticket holders.

Best not to engage with him. There is nothing Rutgers could ever do where he'd find even the slightest bit of fault with an administrator, support staff, coach or player. Literally nothing.
Decisions are not one sided. There is a winner and loser in every decision and a cost-benefit analysis before making important decisions that impact groups.

I'm certain Rutgers evaluated their options and determined that using an automated parking system that is able to rank people in priority point order was the best solution.

If you don't like technology, I can't help you. It's the future. It's coming fast.

It was done better years ago when you made your choice of ranking your parking choice. Please tell me why this is better for the people buying parking. It isn't.

An automated system that tracks your donations and allows you to see parking availability in real time is a much better system. It creates efficiency for the ticket reps so that they can answer more meaningful questions on the phone.

Every business is on their way to automating menial tasks. You pay people to bring value to your business. Selecting parking isn't bringing value. Spending time on the phone to answer nuanced questions and focus on ticket upsells is more valuable use of their time.

Lets assume every rep works with 100 accounts for easy math. If they spend 5 min with each account going over parking options and donation levels etc that's 500 minutes they've used. Then another few minutes each to assign the parking.

In the old ranking system, they had to first rank people by priority points, then go down the list to see what their first preference was, then see if that lot had space and assign it. A far more time consuming process.

It's that simple. Time is money. They created an efficiency in a business to provide a more meaningful level of customer service in other more impactful areas.

They didn't create efficiency they went backwards. My time is money. Sorry your's isn't. Not everyone has free random time to do the work that we are paying for. Do you go to McDonald's and order a Big Mac and go into the kitchen yourself to make it yourself? You're a clown 🤡

The new system is because a lot of people thought RU under sold lots to drive up donations. This is more transparent.
No it isn't. They can give a time slot to first time people and you would never know. This is Ticketmaster crap. So gullible.

Wow, you think that’s what they are doing. Screw over the long term steady money for newbies? Why? I’m gullible but you’re illogical.
WhiteBus has always been like this. They're not screwing over their loyal customers for newbies. No way.

Do you know who got first dibs on parking? Neither does anyone else.

Whoever had the most priority points. Rutgers doesn't gain anything by misleading its top customers.

To play your game, the old system was even less transparent. You were at the mercy of whatever they told you the availability was. Now you can see it.

You wanted transparency and now you have it yet you still complain.

Once a complainer, always a complainer. Chronic complainer.

You can't prove they do. Do you know the times of everyone?

I do. The guys who donate the most over time. I know how much I give and I got to pick today. Given the amount of spaces left, it matches where I am for PP.
Do you? Show everyone the complete list of times and names.

You didn't know the names in order in the old system either. You were at the mercy of what they told you the availability was. I would say that's far less transparent than the current system.

Do you manage your finances with a pen and paper or do you use some form of electronic banking? One is more efficient than the other.

Rutgers has created an efficiency for their business.

If you think clicking a few buttons on a computer is hard, I'm not sure how you deal with the QR code menus at restaurants, touch screen payments at takeout counters, or the tap (NFC) payment/ticket scanners.

Get with the times, technology is good.

I partially agree here. No reason why it shouldn’t work on phones. But you can call and get it done.
