I could be wrong but I think he said that he gets injections 4 times a year but that he would be good to go for the weekend.

Bradford had a tight hamstring and that was the reason that he did not pitch, or was not an option this weekend.

You heard wrong about Ogden, his hamstring is fine, it is his arms and eyesight that seem to be the problem. They are working on his hand eye coordination early in the week and hope to move on to teaching him how to throw a ball by the weekend, stay tuned.

Parks back is the same issue he has always had. Bradford tweaked his hamstring in the Gov. Cup. Ogden has an abdominal strain and they think that is what is affecting him defensively.

Also, CC Watson is going to have surgery on his shoulder on Friday and will be out for the season. They are hoping that he will be back for 2012, but I think it's possible that they end up doing like they did with Bracewell this year and redshirt him. But we'll see how that goes.

I'm not in the 10% when it comes to injuries, but I wonder why he bothered throwing the five innings he played this year if surgery looked possible.

he has a labrum injury and the MD's in Birmingham- he went to Dr. Andrew's group- wanted to try to treat it with therapy first and be conservative. Of course, his velocity simply hasn't come back and he is continuing to have tightness in his arm, so I think they are going to go ahead and do the surgery now with hopes that he will be back for next season because he is going to have to do rehab in the offseason. Basically, by doing it now, they are buying themselves a month of rehab. Personally, I suspect that he will have to be redshirted next year- very similar to Ben Bracewell this year. But, there's no way to really know that until they actually do the surgery and we see how he progresses.

Dr. Linton, the team MD wanted to do surgery last year, but he went to Birmingham for a second opinion.
