1. Miles did earn his NC. Thats just ridiculous.

2. Almost every one of those draft picks Alabama has had the last couple of years to help them win those 26 games was recruited by Mike Shula

3. LSU hired Saban from Michigan State where he was 34-24-1..that's averaging almost 5 losses a season- won a NC....LSU hired Les Miles from Okie State where he was 28-21- won a NC 3 seasons after Saban left...these types of hires seem to be working for them...they aren't going to hire a pro guy I don't think and they are not going to lure a top HC from a top program to make a lateral move. I'd say there is a 90% chance they hire another up and coming coach from a mid-level school in a power conference

4. Miles isn't going to be fired anyway. He beats Saban this year in BR

But Mullen's travels and history has shown he is two things: A Good Coach and A Winner. If he never left starkville, we would become a better than mediocre team, we would be a team that challenges; every play, every game, every season. Relentless Effort is what he said he expects from his players and I expect no less from him. He has a burning desire to win. And as long as he's in Starkvegas he's going to give relentless effort trying to bring success and championships our way.

I'm looking 30-40yrs. down the road when I speak of him retiring here. I mean he stays his entire career, not he leaves then comes back to coach and eventually retires after five to ten seasons. I mean this $+*#$'s ENTIRE CAREER with the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

When thinking about that long of a period of time, and as good of a coach Dan Mullen is, it's not insane to think about 3 Nat'l. titles. That's one every 13yrs.

2007- Miles wins in T-Town

2008- Saban beats Miles worst team in OT in BR

2009- SEC officials take away an LSU pick that would have given them the ball on their 40 down 6 with 6 mins left. Saban wins

2010- back in BR, LSU gets the week off to get ready for the 1st time in the series...should be a fun game to watch

Even when you are trying to be possitive you come out negative. I was talking to another Six Pack Poster last week and we were talking about other posters and he asked what I thought about you. I said hell we are about the same age and could probably sit down and shoot the **** and be friends. I find myself agreeing with on many ocassions and I am sure there are many other poster here who does the same. Then I asked the other poster what he thought of you and he said, he thought you were here only to stir up crap. We all stir up crap every once in a while hell I like pissing off Ole Miss poster here but every once in a while you have to tone down a little. I know I'm not a good poster and don't really care but one thing I do know is that sometime you have to just stop posting in a thread.

You made a great point in your post. I don't agree with all of it but it was a good point. It's the way you said it that made it sound bad. That's the case more often then not.</p>

That being said, I did get a little wool this morning and wrote something that probably was better left unsaid. But I do stand by the fact that Mullen is a championship caliber coach and may just win a Nat'l. title or two. Hell, maybe more than that, but we've got a long way to go before we start counting our chickens.

Your a Dawg fan, why do you say Mullen with an S on the end of it? That's what the Mississippi fans do.
