The next time Pat Forde makes an intelligent comment about football will be his first. He's a real jackass and like everyone above feels he can go f himself. Fortunately no one cares what Pat Forde says.

I wonder what Forde thoughts were when Rick Pitino was banging waitresses in the bathroom while Bobby Petrino was driving his school-funded side piece off the back of his motorcycle? Louisville is his local beat, right?

He's saying what most people who aren't RU fans are privately thinking.
He's like Donald Trump

I often wonder who you guys call talk to. I work in Manhattan with at least 50 CFB fans(most of them typical NYC- fans of front running teams all over America)
A couple of them asked me what was going on but that is about it. Most aren't making such a big deal about it.
Kids getting in trouble with the law- they have been there done that- the emails- most don't get the issue- "he is suspended for asking what a player can do to earn extra credit? I thought he asked to change a grade" harshest comments were asking wtf our WR was thinking.
Other then those things- it really isn't a story to most to care much about.

It's sad to read but unfortunately its all true. Rutgers has not managed its transition to big time athletics well. Without a winning tradition to offset these negative and often minor incidents, Rutgers has only been in the spotlight for the wrong reason. We are where we are because of the poor decision-making of the athletic administrators and coaches. Barchi, Pernetti, Rice, Herman and Flood each contributed to the current perception of RU athletics due to their poor choices. In the end its all about the good judgement of management. Rutgers has not had the leadership that is needed to steer the ship in the turbulent waters of big time college athletics.

I thought Wetzel had a little more self-respect/gravitas and would avoid participating in a mocking podcast hit piece. But this is Forde territory for sure. They do have a point: we are not good at cheating and covering up . Rutgers brought a lot of this mishegas upon itself over the past few years, but this is what happens when people's neat and tidy worlds are disrupted by a change they can't accept. Of course, if we were named Texas, no one would care.

Because Illinois making hurt players play and Minnesotas AD sending raunchy texts totally didn't hurt the precious B1G image.

the thing is besides first hearing about these stories, that was it....I think as RU fans we are consumed with this nonsense but the rest of the country is not, they are just worrying about their own schools. Does anyone here still care about Illinois and Minnesota scandals...no. They are out of the news cycle, just like Rutgers will be out of the news cycle

but they were questioning it before...like before the Rice/Pernetti thing went down. None of the media wanted us there..not then, not know. Its just piling on but too bad, RU is there and they aren't getting kicked out so the media can scream and make up lies like RU floundered in football last year but its not going to change anything

Boeheim was suspended for nine games also. Guess that does not count with their problems.

Doesn't he live in Louisville? Bobby petrino is the head coach there.
Were Jersey guys...to us their all just a bunch of hicks from the sticks...we were the BEST B1G add since PSU. Live with it Pat Forde.Geez...the jealousy of the Cuse and private school types....they all want the school from NC that gives away schollies for playing FB.

Pat for de went to Missouri.

From 2014
COLUMBIA - 12 University of Missouri athletes have been involved in a total of 16 arrests since the school joined the SEC. That puts Mizzou in a tie with the University of Georgia within the conference for the most athlete arrests.

Yes but RU is dumpster fire.
Yes he's a Missouri guy, where do you think he would rather see his Alma mater? Sounds like sour grapes to me.
