Pat Kivlehan traded to Texas Rangers organization

Former RU safety turned baseball player Patrick Kivlehan has been traded from the Seattle Mariners organization to the Texas Rangers organization.

Before he started playing the OF, I felt his best chance was to be traded. Seattle was pretty set at 3B and 1B with good young players already on the big squad and others in the minors.

IIRC, it's his defense and striking out too much that was holding him back. I'd have to think the 4 years he didn't play has been a big issue in his development in the field. I assume his power and speed have made him an intriguing prospect.
