Two legends of their sport for sure. They will be missed for their off the court/field side as much or more for what they accomplished on the field of play.

She was women's college basketball for about 2 decades.

Ryan was a great DC and good HC with the Eagles......and I hated his guts (Cowboys fan here). That said, he was great for football and a tremendous competitor.

Several years ago I heard an interview with Mike Ditka regarding his interactions with Buddy Ryan. What a pair!
