Oscar Tshiebwe leads WVU in points (12.0), rebounds (9.3) and blocks (1.1) and he’s still learning how to play the game since he only touched a basketball 5 years ago.

Yes, he’s inconsistent. But he has 3 years to be better and better. What’s not to like.

And he plays less minutes than Haley, Matthews and Culver!

Only Haley has a better field goal percentage than Oscar. They are the only players shooting better than 50% on the team.

Oscar, Culver and Haley have more rebounds than the rest of the team combined.

This is a young team that should only get better. Yes, Ohio State, Kansas and Oklahoma State will be a tough 3-game stretch too early for them. But I think by March Madness they could make a serious run in March Madness. Barring injury, of course.

WVU has to make sure they are developing faster than everyone
Ultimately this team is a 4 or 5 at best. To reach that level it starts at PG.
You could be good enough to be able to make a deep run but it is much harder as a 7, 8, 9...

I wouldn't say that yet until you see the evidence in conference.

I’ll be happy if we just get in this year!! Last year it was disappointing. Very different feel when we aren’t in the tourney!!

Patience you say? WVU plays an absolutely awful game in MSG and you write 8 paragraphs of Monday morning quarterback horseshit while I told you to relax, that it was just a bad game. Which is it Talmageeer?

Good grief. Do you truly post stuff everyone knows for a reason or is it out of stupidity? Really? Everything you post screams FakeSportsWriter...a wannabe.

You’re funny old timer. Beloved freshman is one and done. “Has three years to get better” haha. No way you know anything about sports if you post something like that.

I wouldn't trust any mock draft this early.

If the NBA wants him it is because they want him to play in their G League for a year or two.
Most teams won't use a first round pick on this type of player

If he is to leave after this year he will be instantly be labeled undeveloped especially on the offensive end.

I do think the NBA likes his ability to guard on the perimeter but he still will fall victim to switches and mismatches at the pro level.

Needs to work on his defense and develop a shot plus the ability to pick and roll or pick and pop.

They want length to be able to play all positions and run the floor. .

Watch Enoch from Louisville

That is a big who the NBA values.

He had to go back to school last year because the NBA didn't want him.
His game was a lot more developed

Oscar is NOT ready for the NBA after one season. He needs far more polish and he knows it. If he sticks with Huggins Heroes beyond this season he will make more millions in the long run. No way YOU know anything about sports if you don't understand that.

Again evidence you have no idea how this works. Most draft choices aren’t ready for the NBA. That fact however is irrelevant. If you are projected to be a first rounder with a guaranteed 7 figure contract you 100% are advised to enter the draft. I still find it hard to believe you were anything but a small time local rah rah writer for the Fairmont Gazette.

Consistency has never been his thing. He will hold 2 separate views depending on how it supports his preconceived conclusions. Frequently gets facts wrong. Also loves to tout himself as a good ole, humble country boy while claiming how wealthy and worldly he is if anyone dares to question his opinions or refute that being a "sports writer" imbues infallibility on the subject. Not to mention frequently claiming he is just a homer for WVU and chooses to view things positively in regards to the Mountaineers which belies his "authority as a sportswriter" when he openly admits to not even trying to curb his own biases.

You are the one who made a ridiculous claim and not me.

Not saying he won't enter the NBA draft after this year because you never know who is in his ear.

But so far he hasn't showed anyone anything different. Most knew he was going to turn into a great college player but the NBA is different.

They want bigs with huge upside. Bigs who can play the perimeter and shoot.

Oscar isn't developed enough as a player to have demand in the NBA.

Look at Azubuike at Kansas.

He is a dominant college player but he won't be drafted in the first round
He is 7-0 and probably one of the most dominant bigs in the country.

Need a 15-20 foot shot and expand his game.
What Freshman big I have seen that has huge NBA upside is the kid from Arizona.
Nnaji

Watch him. This is the type of big the NBA wants
He is gone. Could be a Top 10 pick.

It has already been said on here before many times.

People attend colleges and universities to learn how to reason.
People who have obtain a higher education can construct arguments and counter arguments.

You do not have this ability. You like most trolls on the internet live in an echo chamber where reason doesn't matter.

When your post get question you go into a shell and start attacking people.
This shows me that you aren't comfortable with reasoning and creating counter arguments and reinforcing your original argument.

The ability to reason is easy.
You have a thesis and then you reinforce your thesis with logical points.

But you cannot do this.

Some people talk Texass. Some people do Texass. Trolling you into jibberish is hilarious to me. You’re too dumb and insecure to reason with. BTW you’re too dumb to realize no one cares what you think.

More proof that Greggy lives in a fantasy world.

Pretty sad and apparent.
Sad how the internet has become a playground for people like you.

If you were all these things you wouldn't waste your time.

But you do because this is more important to you than actual reality.

Keeping up with your internet appearance. The more I push the more I see you for what you are....

He is a quitter

Unless he can change he is a waste of a scholarship.

He left Florida because he lost his starting job
Unlike Hurts who left Bama he didn't fight for it back.

Actually, since you kinda asked, Charleston Daily Mail, St. Petersburg Times and Dayton Daily News. Never worked at the Fairmont Times. Turned down Bill Evans' offer for money than I got for going elsewhere because I wanted to do better. 56 countries and 44 states later is proof that I did. Attack elsewhere.
