That Polk's team is playing the team that John Grisham built.

I was kind of hoping that we could get Patrick Palmeiro as an invited walk-on, but obviously it didn't happen.

wasn't real happy with the coaching change and wanted Patrick to play for Polk.

I know he didn't play much in JUCO last year, and was playing summer league baseball in Texas and he only hit .225.

I don't think Cohen went after him real hard. I wish Patrick well, though.

I do like legacies.. but if he put up those numbers, I don't blame Cohen one bit.. Talk the talk, walk the walk.

What's going to be ironic is when he has this breakout season out of nowhere despite not playing much in JUCO, and he will be the one legacy that Polk actually got- and now he's at UAB.

But again, I agree with you- especially with roster limits, you can't just carry 10 legacies just for the sake of goodwill.

They've got to be like CT Bradford- guys who can legitimately help us out.

I don't know whether or notCohen went after him, but he is one legacy that you have to make an exception for regardless of whether or not he has the talent.
