I’m
Ok, let me explain how this goes. Players on the cusp will be asked to participate in individual workouts where they will get some meaningful feedback. It Paul is lucky, he will get called in for some 3 on 3 workouts with several marginal prospects because they could use another body for the workout. These scouts have no involvement with the Euro leagues or any other overseas league, and will not provide any useful feedback other than saying in a very nice way that it is hard to see that you have any future in the NBA.
I 'm under the impression after an college player fills out the application for the NCAA to allow feedback from the NBA, he can begin working with an NCAA-certified agent to advise him on what league he might have a chance at and the agent helps
finding obtaining individual workouts and invitations.
If the player returns to college that relationship ends.
If the player doesn't return to school , that agent signs the player to a contract and looks for NBA team that might give the player a quick look and also contact teams in other pro leagues to find a spot for the player .
I wouldn't be surprised to find out the Euro League and lesser ones had a stringer or two checking out players being evaluated and if they didn't go back to college and not NBA material, those non NBA connected leagues would offer the players they hought worth giving a shot to make the team.
