that Dak Prescott is about to be offered by TCU but he is still going to State and going to enroll in January. So that's LSU and TCU who we are beating out for a QB.

I think that says we have a staff with a good eye for talent, and we know they can definitely develop talent. Now all we need to do is keep putting together winning seasons.

The fact we have a couple of recruits that were low on offers early on when they committed and their interest level to legit programs is heating up on the back end tells me our staff is good at spotting talent early and getting on them. The surprising thing is Dak and Josh aren't recruits from obscure MS schools right in our own backyards. They are playing for larger LA schools competing for division titles. Sure, if LSU and Alabama are recruiting them, it still could be as a contingency plan. However, I'll take an Nick Saban's B list over competing heads up for recruits against LA Tech, UAB, USM, etc. any day...

Now we just have to cross our fingers and hope these guys remain loyal to their commitments...

Hopefully, a good portion of the bowl practices are open. I'd like to get some reports of what TR and Favre look like running the offense and if there's any chance that Favre pushes TR for playing time. If that were the case, then maybe the thought crosses Russell's mind at some point.

Have you watched college football the past few seasons?

On another note, it looks like Mullen has finally done what everyone has been bitching about him not being able to do yet (land the big QB).
