Tired of this. Go out and get an experienced SUCESSFUL offensive coordinator.

This team has to turn the page on offense. It’s not working. It’s inconsistent.

Get someone who can coach because what we have is embarrassing.

Our current OC was a successful OC and is one of the highest paid in college football so we already did what you wanted.

Did you see the guy throwing the ball? God almighty might be the only OC who could improve our passing game.

You should think before you post

Run out of the NFL, fired at OSU, a losing record over 17 years, never beating teams with winning records, and difficult for many to deal with. Just clean house.
Think the first 2 years with the program kinda tarnished the win loss record and once again you illustrate that you’re a total moron

Amazing the stupid things that people say after a bad game

Clean house😂😂😂😁😁

How about not having 5 false starts. When it was 3rd and 2 and two penalties it was all over. It stinks, indiana had 45 points today and lost and they are 3-7.

When you’re program goes to a bowl for the first time in 10 years and think it’s a success being 6-6 you’re gonna have a bad time

Pay is the key word
If Rutgers was willing to pay the price, maybe Hobbs could have brought n someone
that this board considers better than Greg.
KC is a good OC, not a great one, and might have been the best available that was willing to come to RU that wouldn't been jumping up from a mid major and considered a gamble that RU would pay as such .

It might have changed a little since last I looked but when he was hired KC was like the 5th highest paid OC at 1.4M.

That’s a healthy budget for OC.

think RU had to pay to get him to come because others wanted more ?
But I have to agree with those that feel RU needs a coach just for the QBs.

RU had to pay that plus a 275K buyout to Minn because he just signed a fairly new contract there.

Who knows who else was contacted but 1.4M is a very healthy figure.
Good money for sure, now the question is: making the most of the talent RU has on the O side, or not getting the most out of them and that's why the offense sucks.
Also is Greg holding back KC not letting him go for broke by playing a not to lose offense with Wimsatt

I said this in the game thread. At peak, the Minn offense with Tanner Morgan is about the best you can expect. He was an average qb and they relied heavily on Ibrahim.

Bowl eligible for the first time in 9 years. Better recruits coming on board and you want to blow it up…..OK I will play along.

1. Who ya got?
2. How much you paying him?
3. How are you paying off Greg?

The OC is not doing a good job developing a 4 star QB but I'll give him a pass because it's his first year working with the starting QB. Hiring a new OC would be a bad idea because the young QB has to learn a new system once again.

We can’t afford him but the UVA true freshman QB has been impressive every time I’ve watched. Had 2 offers.

Wimsatt hasnt been good but our receivers almost never get open

Imagine Friedgen coaching QBs, Britt and Underwood as WRs with Brown in slot and a steady OL?
I always said if I knew a QB recruit with a QB offer from RU I would tell him to go somewhere else.
Savage came in a great recruit and ended-up a basketcase
Its well known that if a QB goes to the wrong team in NFL (Jets being one) his career is practically over.
Wimsatt isn't as good as Savage (highest rated RU QB recuit and not GW as oftne reported) but he had offers from programs with history of good offenses (Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, TCU, VT, WV, Michigan St, Maryland, Kansas).

Does Oregon not know QBs?
GS sees team as a whole and a "developmental program" that cant rely on getting stars.
How many games did Teel win as a hero?
It was usually Ray Rice and the defense rescuing RU,
I was at the 06 UConn game that RU was losing until defense and specials made turnovers.
RU was not a high scoring team then.

I dont ever see an RU team with a Caleb Williams hero QB
Greg would rather have a Trent Dilfer (Bucs SB QB in 21)
A new OC hardly matters because the template makes everyone a cog in a wheel.
Even when RU was real good the RZ offense was always a problem

When you have an Administration who hires a coach ,who then lurks around in disguise, and follows him up with some Midwest Hack who comes in and trashes our traditions and can then only get DII and DIII talent because recruiting is beneath him. Then getting back to a 6-6, or better, record in 4 years with a bowl appearance. You bet your *** that is the beginning of SUCCESS!
