Talk about winning the press conference. Providence students and supporters filled Alumni Hall and the enthusiasm and energy were palpable. Putting Hodgson's coaching, recruiting, and personal skills aside, the most impressive sight was seeing and hearing the President, the Athletic Director, and the Coach all on the exact same page and enthusiastically committed to the central role that championship basketball plays in the success of the university. I don't mind saying I felt envious and perhaps a little ashamed when comparisons are put on the table.
