A lot can happen between now and Monday. Hamas is notorious for not doing what they say but this time some things are different. There is multiple middle east countries involved. Iran got its nuts chopped off. Hamas knows they are toast. Trump means what he said that he was going to turn the dog lose if they don't. Hamas has seen the writing on the wall. We will know as soon as Monday. If first step take place I think it is on.

Too soon, Gaza still has some buildings standing.

And tunnels and still LOTS of cockroaches crawling around the rubble and tunnels that will regroup and do it again. It will never be over. Those 2 groups started out throwing rocks and shooting them across borders w/ sling shots many centuries ago, same rocks even, back and forth.

I think people have lost sight of how this latest "conflict" began because its been rolling on for so long now. The Palestinians raped and killed over 1,200 Jews in a day, the largest single day number of Jewish casualties since the Holocaust. The final line of whatever "peace" agreement they draft should read, "yo, Palestinians, you start this sh-it again like this time, it doesn't end until you are obliterated". That will be the only way for them to have peace. But then, the Iranians, Syrians, Lebanese, etc will take up and escalate the cause and start the rock throwing all over again though so again, there will be no peace.

Peace …until the next conflict that will inevitably happen sooner or later, and probably sooner rather than later. Let’s be real, these people believe that fighting and violence is the way of life.

Agreed ANYBODY that truly believes the Israelis are quietly going to forgive and forget Oct. 7 is very naive. The conflict will be covert for a while then inevitably turn overt again . Wash , rinse , repeat

1. It hasn't actually happened yet.
2. IF it does happen, let's see if it will hold. It won't.

I can tell your knowledge of international diplomacy is sorely lacking. There is no eloquence to such a statement. Would never be respected by foreign adversaries engaged in a 1000 year holy war.

What you’re actually looking for is an early 2000’s homage to Churchill himself, courtesy of Youngbloodz:

“If you don't give a damn, we don't give a 17.
Don't start no shít, it won't be no shít”

I don't believe I remember having a "international diplomacy" class while at MSU, therefore my "eloquence" is "sorely lacking". I've never claimed to be politically correct, so 17 OFF!

Well, if you're a Christian, you know it doesn't matter what is done. That place is going to be at war until Jesus comes back and cleans it up once and for all.

But not everyone believes that. For those who don't, I'd say that your attack on his "sorely lacking" knowledge of international diplomacy is incorrect. Eloquence lends itself to weakness and appeasement. Eloquence is why nobody over there respects peace deals and honorable behavior. "Respected by foreign adversaries" is a negative, not a positive. Foreign adversaries should be made to fear us. Eloquence should be replaced by red lines and repercussions. Today's enemies don't respect eloquence and diplomacy. They only respect fear and strength, and they'll only get right when they understand that the talking is over.

Eventually, Jesus is going to take care of all that. Until then, there's nothing wrong with people stepping into the breach.

When someone starts to squeal
'Cause Trump made a peace deal,
That's derangement.

When the shooting has quit
So she mutters, "Well, sh!+"
That's derangement.
Let’s hope your great peacemaker can save the wastelands of Portland next. Or rescue the half eaten dogs and cats in Ohio! What a stud!!!

If anyone wants to learn a ton about this region read or listen to:

Whose Land, Whose Promise - Gary Burge

when I first started reading I thought he was capitalizing on recent events until I saw the publication date was 2003; 2nd edition was 2013. Very good read.

hopefully some kind of lasting peace can be achieve along with a tenable way of life for all parties there not named Hamas…
